Petal Palette Bundle SBTD Blog Hop April 2018

Hello Hivers,

Welcome to another monthly Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop.  This month we are focusing on Bundles.  Bundles are items, when purchased together, have a 10% savings built into the cost.  The bundle of my choice for this hop is the Petal Palette Bundle.  I will actually be using a few items from the entire Petal Passion Suite.

Of course, I will be using the Petal Palette Bundle which includes the Petal Palette stamp set and the Petals & More Thinlits; but I will also be using the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack along with the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper.  All of these items can be found in the 2018 Occasions Catalog on pages 22-24.
Note:  The stamp set and thinlits will be available in the upcoming 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, but not at the 10% savings Bundled price.

Now on with the project.

Today I have created a set of 4 cards.  I also made a holder that can hold all 4 cards and envelopes.  I want to thank Crafty Caroline for the inspiration of the Card Holder.  She made one for Note Cards & Envelopes.   I simply adjusted the measurements to fit full size standard cards and envelopes.

TAKE A LOOK.

Bubble Over Gift Card Holder and Card

Hello Hivers,

This is just my second time using the Bubble Over stamp set and I am loving it.  I am so sad that the Sale-A-Bration Bubble & Fizz Designer Series Paper has retired.  I will continue to use it until my pack is all gone.

I really like making Fun/Fancy Fold cards.  This one is very simple.  I die cut some bottles from Window Sheets to put over my colored bottles to make them look more like glass.  I used the "straw" die from the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies to make the opening for the gift card.  It fits perfectly.  The little stars and strip of Springtime Foils SDSP on the front of the card were made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  I added Wink of Stella all over the card along with some Clear Epoxy Shapes.  I love my sparkle.

Here's a look at the card opened up.

Measurements:
Card Base:  Bermuda Bay 11" x 4.25"
     Score:  2.25" & 5.5" on long side
Front DSP:  4" x 3"
Insert:  Whisper White 5.25" x 4"  DSP 5.25" x 0.75"
Holder DSP:  4" x 2"

Supplies:
Coffee Cups Framelits
Mini Treat Bag Thinlits
Bottles & Bubbles Framelits
Bubble Over stamp set
Thankful Thoughts stamp set
Springtime Foils SDSP (retired SAB)
Bubble & Fizz DSP (retired SAB)
Window Sheets
Copper Foil Sheets

Mini Treat Bag Cards

Hello Hivers,

My dear Hubby needed a few thank you gift card holders for some friends and this is what I came up with.  I love using the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (FREE Sale-A-Bration item). It looks great any way you use it.  I paired it with Bubble & Fizz DSP (another SAB freebie).  I love the bright colors.  I added the Circle Tab Punch for a pull on the insert.

My favorite thing about these Mini Treat Bag cards is that you can get two, including the piece for the envelope, from one 12" x 12" sheet of DSP.  I cut the card stock in half (12" x 6").  I then sponged on my color and it was ready to be cut again.  I cut the paper into 3 pieces...the first two are for the Mini Treat Bag.  My next cut was 6" x 6", then I cut the left over at 3" x 6", which left me with a 3" x 6" piece for the envelope.

Insert Layers:
Base:  3.5" x 4.75"
Neutral:  3.25" x 4.5"

Did you notice the coordinating envelope?  Cute, right?

Below are photos of the back of the inserts, with and without a gift card.

Half Full - Painted Harvest Christmas

Hello Hivers,

Someone should have told me that the Painted Harvest stamp set is addicting.  I can't seem to stop using it.  I absolutely love it.  This card is a combination of the other projects I shared this week.  I love the silver embossing. And that ribbon....Wow!

Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Painted Harvest - 3" x 3" Note Cards

Hello Hivers,

Aren't these little note cards with matching envelopes the cutest?   The Old Olive and Garden Green are the perfect colors to make this flower into a Christmas wreath.  I stamped all over the Mini Pizza Box before putting it together.   I love the way these turned out.  I was able to fit 8 cards with envelopes in the box.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.

A Spooky Treat

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a very special treat.  I found some Black Cherry and Black Grape bubble gum pops at my local dollar store.  I just had to get them.  I love how the stick is black too.  The best part about these lolly pops is that they turn your tongue black.  LOL  They are called Tongue Painters.    Yes, I had to try one...or two.  Anyway, I made these lolly pop holders using one of the specialty sheets from the Halloween Night Designer Series Paper pack.  Take a look at the top portion of page 50 of the Holiday Catalog...you will see where I got the idea from.

Supplies:

Spooky Fun stamp set
Halloween Night DSP
Smokey Slate cardstock
Basic Gray Ink
Halloween Night Baker's Twine
Scalloped Tag Topper punch
1/8" Handheld Circle punch
Mini Treat Bag Thinlits

Stacked Pumpkins

Hello Hivers,

I wanted to make a couple of Halloween cards that weren't so...Halloweeny.  You can easily change the sentiment and make this a birthday or a happy fall card.  Maybe even a Thanksgiving card.

When you are the one making the card you have creative freedom.

Enjoy your day, and as always...
Thanks for buzzzing by the Hive.

Caught in a Web

Hello Hivers,

Here's another Mini Treat Bag.  I used the specialty sheet in the Halloween Night DSP to make this one.  I added some 3/8" Sweet Sugarplum Glitter Ribbon and a bit of the Fancy Frost Sequins.  I tied a bow with the Halloween Night Baker's Twine and attached it above my image.  The image is from the Jar of Haunts stamp set.

CASE'd Mini Treat Bags

Hello Hivers,

I was on Pinterest and found a video making these cute little treat bags.  I just had to CASE (copy and  share everything) them.  I, of course, made a few minor changes to make the projects unique to me.

Don't think you have enough talent to come up with creations of your own?...Do what we all do, and CASE some great work that can be found just about anywhere.  Use that as a starting point and you will be surprised with where you can go from there.

Mini Halloween Scene Treat Bag

Hello Hivers,

Okay, I have a confession to make.  This is the first project I made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  Shhh.  I know.  It is a shame.

Now, I have to admit, these treat bags come together very quickly.  I made quit a few.  It was a bit addictive.  LOL

You can fill these bags with all sorts of goodies. I can't wait to hand them out to the kiddos.

Until next time....Buzzz you later,
Honeybee

Friendly Heart Bag-A-Lope

Hello Hivers,

I am so behind on my stamping.  I just recently got around to playing with my October 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I searched Pinterest and found some wonderful alternate ideas for using the kit.  One of the ideas was using the envelopes for making bags or boxes.  I love the way this one turned out.  I will be sharing more of the kit projects later this week.

October 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Bloomin' Love stamp set
Mini Treat Bag Thinlits

Whisper White Cardstock
Calypso Coral Classic Ink

Happy Hearts Balloons

Hello Hivers,

I know I'm a little for V-Day, but I knew you wouldn't mind me sharing this card anyway.

Balloons seem to be a big theme right now, so I thought I would make my hearts into balloons using the heart thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and the Confetti Hearts Border Punch.

The stamp set I used can be found in the current Occasions Catalog on page 17, it is called Bloomin' Love.

Thanks for buzzzing by the Hive.

Until next time....Buzzz you later,
Honeybee
