I used Summer Sun, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. The ink colors are Apricot Appeal, More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black and Whisper White. I used Stampin Write Markers to color the cat. I also used my silver Zig Painty and white gel pen.

Happy Monday

Hello Hivers,

I made this card when I first started stamping. I just love the image of the frog. I am so sad that the set is no longer available. I am used this card for my brother-in-laws birthday. I am trying to use all my cards that I have made in the past. I have to admit, I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to cute cards. I just want to keep them. So now I have a large box full of cards that need to find a new home. Thank You for visiting my Hive today.

Cheers to You Swap

Hello Hivers,

Here is my submission for the Cheers to You swap. I made two layouts, which do you like better? Leave a comment and let me know. The idea for the card came from the cartoon movie "Dumbo". You know, Pink Elephants. The sentiment was stamped twice to create the double vision that some may have after drinking. I just wanted to have fun with this card. The elephant image is from the Wild About You stamp set. I used Rainbow Sherbet DSP (to give the effect of seeing spots) the main card stock is the new In Color Pacific Point.

Here are the swaps I received in return: (makers of all cards --Unknown)

Christmas Swap

Hello Hivers,

Here is the card I made for the Christmas swap. I used the Fresh Cut Notes on top of Riding Hood Red card stock. This is a double open card. The sentiment is from Heard from the Heart stamp set. I used some whisper white ribbon that I altered with my SU markers. Lots of glitter and Crystal Effects for the flower. I just love this card. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. Halloween Swaps

Hello Hivers,
Sorry for another late post. I injured my back. I'm O.K., just a little stiff. Anyway, back to the reason we are here......
I made this Halloween card for a swap with other demonstrators. I had so much fun coming up with the idea for this card. At the time I made the card I didn't have any current Halloween stamp sets, so I had to work with what I had. This is what I came up with.
Here are the swaps that I received. made by Susan Millermade by Mindy Fischerby Mindy Fischermaker unknownmade by Cheryl

Pillows?

Hello Hivers,

Isn't this pillow box just the cutest? I used one of the Sizzix dies, that SU is now offering, to make this wonderful gift/treat box. It was so simple and easy. You just have to get a Big Shot and some dies. You will not regret it. I used the gold Elastic Cord from the Holiday Mini that starts October 1st. The flower was made using the Five Petal punch and the Boho Blossoms punch. I also used the gold Zigpainty pen to add doodle dots and a faux brad for the flowers center. I will be showing you more from the new Holiday Mini in the next few days.

Bella Christmas

Hello Hivers,

Here is a card for Christmas. I am stepping out of the box with this layout. I don't usally use multiple DSP on one card. I think it turned out good. The main image is from Punches Three stamp set, a Level One Hostess Set. I used the Scallop Square punch to punch the image out and mounted it on top of a 1 3/8 circle of DSP with a diminsional. Some colorful ribbon to match and Wala, a Christmas card. ........Hey, did you notice that I used the punch template to shade the sentiment with Pink Pirouette?

Bella Rose Diaper Fold

Hello Hivers,

I just love SU Designer Series Paper (DSP). I have been using the Bella Rose a lot. I have so many others, this one is just my favorite right now. (Until I open a different pack, and then that will become my favorite..heeeheee) I used the Five Petal punch and the Boho Blossoms punch to create the flower with a pink brad in the middle. Aren't you just crazy for the new In Colors. I used the Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, and Kiwi Kiss. The bow is pink grossgrain ribbon. This pouch is so easy to make. Start with a perfect sqaure sheet of cardstock or DSP. I used 6x6.

Fold it in half diagonially.
Fold the two points at the bottom so that they cross each other.

Finally, bring down one side of the remaing point to form the pouch.

Wala, your done. Now just decorate and fill with your choice of goodies.

Wil it Fit?

Hello Hivers,
Today I am sharing a project I made to keep me more organized and save time. It is a booklet to hold punched images of all my punches. I can flip through the booklet and place the page over an image in the catalog and know if the image will fit inside the punch area. No more guess work. As ShelleyHopps suggested, if you punch out the shape using acetate, you can use it as a stencil to make background shapes. I will show you that tomorrow. I used chip board, jumbo eyelets, Boho punch, brads, ribbon, Hodgepodge ribbon slider, Curly punch, and Rainbow Sherbet DSP.

Cowboys and Eagles

Hello Hivers,
I made this card for my father on Father's Day. I thought it was appropriate to share today because............The Cowboys beat the Eagles.
The Dallas Cowboys are my fathers favorite team. I love the way this card turned out. I used the Define Your Life and Dad's Day stamp sets. Did anyone see that game yesterday? How about it for Monday night football.

Fall Scrappin'

Hello Hivers,

Sorry for the late post. I got back home in the wee hours of the morning. My husband took our sons to their first NFL game on Sunday. Buffalo @ Jacksonville. The Jags lost (soo sad). But my fellas had so much fun. I guess that makes up for their team loosing.

Now on to our Stampin' Buzzziness. Here are two 6x6 Fall scrap book pages. I cased this from someone on SCS. I just love the combination of colors. The background was stamped using Lovely as Tree stamp set. These pages were very quick and easy. My husband thought I used DSP. I used these pages in a scrap book I made for my sister-in-law and another for a friend. I hope you like it. Let me know what you think.
