Merry Christmouse

Hello Hivers,

These are my final cards (for this week), using the Merry Mouse stamp set.  I just love the way these came out.  I used Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock and the Gold sheet of DSP from the Neutrals DSP stack.  I added some Wink of Stella to the stars and ornament, although you can't see it in the photo, in real life it looks fabulous.

Tiny Easter Bags

Hello Hivers,

These are the last of the treats that I made for my children.  I found the instructions for them here.  I  used a 6" x 3" piece of the Cherry on Top DSP.  These bags are tiny.  I used some of the retired SAB Metallics Glitter Tape to decorate the bags and finished them off with a Teeny Tiny Wishes tag using the Word Window punch.

Easter Pouches & The Last Weekly Deal

Hello Hivers,

I made a variety of sizes of different pouches using the Cherry on Top DSP.  I filled each with some delicious Jelly Beans.  You have to have Jelly Beans on Easter, right?

The Big Day

Hello Hivers,

Here are a couple of cards I made a while back.  I used the Big Day stamp set and Back to Black DSP. Both of those items are retired now.  I enjoyed coloring all the little hexagons on the DSP.  I heat embossed the secondary sentiment using White Embossing Powder.

I fell in love with the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper the moment I seen it in the Holiday Catalog.  I knew that I could and would create wonderful things with it.  These two cards just have slight differences between them.  I love them both.  I seen the layout for this card over on Pootles blog.

Ice Skating Santa

Hello Hivers,

I am in love with this Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I went a little overboard with cutting out the images.  I cut an entire 12x12 sheet of the Santa images.  Sooooo...I will be sharing all the cards I have created using the images.


SUPPLIES:

Cozy Christmas stamp set
Home for Christmas DSP

Old Olive card stock: 11" x 4.5"  score at 5.5"  and 2" Circle Punch
Very Vanilla card stock x 2 cut at 5.25" x 4" (one for inside and one for the outside of card)
Cherry Cobbler card stock:  4" x 1"
DSP (inside):   .5" x 4"
DSP (outside):   4" x 2" cut on an angle (one point in the groove of the track and the other point at .5")
Silver Glimmer Paper:   Large Oval Punch
Stampin' Write Markers:  Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, and Pool Party
Ribbon:  Very Vanilla 1.25" Subtle Stripes Satin

Hello Hivers,

Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour tonight.  Have fun and don't eat too much sweets.

Now on to today's project:

I found the instructions for this Slider Treat Box over at Stamping With Amore.  She has a great video tutorial posted on 09/06/15.  

I used Rich Razzelberry and Very Vanilla card stock and a small piece of Window Sheet.  The batty paper is from the Happy Haunting DSP.  I used the Merry Everything stamp set for the image along with some Silver Glimmer Paper.  I also used the Large Oval, Scallop Oval , Note Tag, Project Life Corner and Owl Builder punches.

The batty image on the box is what was left over after punching out my oval window.  I also have DSP on both ends of the box to help pull everything together.


How to:

Base:  9" x 3.5" Scored at 1/2", 2", 3.5", 5", and 6.5" (Don't fold on the 6.5" score line.  It's a guide).
Box:  4.25" x 6" Scored at 1-3/8" on all 4 sides
DSP:  1 piece at 3-1/8" x 2.5"      2 pieces at 3-3/8" x 1-3/8"     2 pieces at 1.25" x 1-3/8"
Window Sheet:  1-3/8" x 3-3/8"

A Pot of Tea

Hello Hivers,

OMG!!!  I love this teapot.  I found the instructions on Pinterest.  I love the way it turned out.  I used Basic Black card stock along with the Neutrals Color Collection DSP stack.
The Basic Pearl Jewels just added the final touch this teapot needed.  The flower topper was made using a retired flower punch.

Desk Caddy

Hello Hivers,

This is another teacher appreciation gift from last year.  I filled it with all kind of goodies for the teacher to use in her classroom.  I used, the now retired Specialty DSP, Birthday Bash.

I actually did a search and I can not find the tutorial for this caddy.  I will share it when and if I do find it.
