Black & Gold Foil Holiday Shadow Box

Hello Hivers, 

I made this gorgeous Shadow Box for my wonderful hubby to put on his desk at work.  It holds a beautiful family picture of us all decked out in Black & Gold attire.  I am loving all the texture from the two different embossing folders.  And the shine fro the Black and Gold Foil Paper is just awesome.  I even threw in a little gold embossing.  Don't you just love it?!  

Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Frame Instructions:
9.5" x 8.5"
Score on all four sides at 0.50", 1", 1.5", 2"
Score on opposite sides (of two sides) down to the second Horizontal score line at 2.5" and 7"

Kick Stand:
8.5" x 3.5" score at 4.25"
Secure kick stand opening with ribbon and adhere to back of frame.
Decorate as desired.

God's Peace For Christmas

Hello Hivers, 

This is one of the Christmas cards that I made this season.  I sent this out to a select few.  When I seen the God's Peace stamp set I knew that I would be doing the stained glass technique.  I stamped my image on a Window Sheet using StazOn and colored with my Stampin' Blends on the back side.  I adhered the image to some Glimmer Paper using Glue Dots and cut it out.  I think the result is wonderful.  I love how the Subtles Embossing Folder looks on the Silver Foil Sheet.

Bubble, Bubble, Toil & Trouble

Hello Hivers, 

I am so excited about this Holiday Catalog.  Although, I haven't had much time to play with all the new product.  But, as soon as a little time opened up I grabbed this Halloween stamp set called Cauldron Bubble.  I just love it.  I paired it with the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper to make this great card.  I love all the little frogs jumping around on the paper.  They are super cute.

Painted Harvest - Hello Friend

I made this card for a long time friend.  I was thinking of her and just wanted to say hello.  Instead of sending a text message or making a phone call...I thought a handmade card would be best.  I really love the way this card came together.  Nothing fancy, but I think it is a Wow card.

Merry Patterns - Shaker or No?

Hello Hivers, 

Today I am sharing two sets of cards that are very similar, yet very different.  The first card is a shaker card.  I used the Christmas Around the World DSP along with the Merry Patterns stamp set.  I really love this card.  

For the second card, I thought I would have a try at a card sketch (#3) that Dawn G. shared on her blog.  I didn't stick exactly to the sketch, but it's close.  These cards are not shakers.  I don't know which I like more. I like them both for different reasons.

A Little Wild - Mini Pizza Box

Hello Hivers, 

When I first seen this stamp set in the Annual Catalog, I knew I had to get it.  I don't know why it has taken me so long to use it.  But now that I have, I am over joyed at the results.  I used the New Stampin' Blends to color everything, including the Mini Pizza Box.  You know I had to carry the cutness to the inside of the box, as well.  And I found the perfect candy to fill the box with.  LOL

Flowers for Mom

Hello Hivers, 

I saw a very similar card like these two on Pinterest.  Yes, I am CASE'ing again.  But, as always, I have made a few changes to make the cards my own.  I used several stamp sets to complete these cards.  I used You've Got This and Gorgeous Grunge for the background.  The Jar of Love stamp set was used for the jar, fireflies, and the flowers.  The sentiment came from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit...A Sarah Thing stamp set.

Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour tonight.  Have fun and don't eat too much sweets.

Now on to today's project:

I found the instructions for this Slider Treat Box over at Stamping With Amore.  She has a great video tutorial posted on 09/06/15.  

I used Rich Razzelberry and Very Vanilla card stock and a small piece of Window Sheet.  The batty paper is from the Happy Haunting DSP.  I used the Merry Everything stamp set for the image along with some Silver Glimmer Paper.  I also used the Large Oval, Scallop Oval , Note Tag, Project Life Corner and Owl Builder punches.

The batty image on the box is what was left over after punching out my oval window.  I also have DSP on both ends of the box to help pull everything together.


How to:

Base:  9" x 3.5" Scored at 1/2", 2", 3.5", 5", and 6.5" (Don't fold on the 6.5" score line.  It's a guide).
Box:  4.25" x 6" Scored at 1-3/8" on all 4 sides
DSP:  1 piece at 3-1/8" x 2.5"      2 pieces at 3-3/8" x 1-3/8"     2 pieces at 1.25" x 1-3/8"
Window Sheet:  1-3/8" x 3-3/8"
