All My Love Ferrero Rocher Box

Hello Hivers,

I made this box to hold a 5.3 oz container of Ferrero Rocher chocolates.  I used Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the box bottom and a sheet of All My Love DSP for the lid.  I added some Lovely Lipstick ribbon on the lid and decorated using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I stamped images from both, Forever Lovely and Meant To Be stamp sets.  I added some Wink of Stella and a small heart die cut from the Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets found in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.

Measurements:
Box
Cardstock:  9.75" x 8-3/8"
Score:  1-5/8" on all 4 sides

Reinforced Lid
DSP: 10" x 8-5/8"
Score:  7/8" and 1.75" on all 4 sides (Move paper over about 1/16" before scoring)

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.

After Dinner Gift with Tutorial

Hello Hivers,

I made these boxes for my husbands co-workers.  We all went out for dinner to celebrate Christmas together.  Each box contained one York Peppermint Patty.

I received a swap at OnStage in November from Theresa Sommer.  I deconstructed her project and took down the measurements.  I found this box to be very unique.  I love it.  I hope you do too.

You can decorate the box any way you like.

Be sure to stop by tomorrow.  I will have links for you to view the NEW Occasions Catalog as well as the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.

Dashing Along Ghirardelli Treat Bags

Hello Hivers,

I hope you all took advantage of the great Host Promotion last month to get this wonderful 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper for FREE.  It is super gorgeous. I am just finding time to sit and play with a lot of my new goodies.  I made these cute little treat bags to hold 2 Ghirardelli squares, however, other things can fit in them. I also used the Merry Christmas To All stamp set and Merry Christmas thinlits.

The photo below is showing how I accomplished the 2 partial score lines at 3.25" and 7" for the sides of the bag.  The ruler is there just for a visual stopping point.

The following photo shows how I got the horizontal lines at 2.5" for the sides of the bag.

Here's another look at the two bags.  The first bag was made using the above template.  The second bag was altered just a bit by cutting off the top flap for a different closure.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.

September 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternate - Treat Holder

Hello Hivers,

Here is another alternate project I made using items from the Frights & Delights Paper Pumpkin Kit.  It is a little Treat Holder.  It holds one Ghirardelli square.  I love making 3D items.  This one came together pretty quick and easy.  I think I may have to make more for the kiddos at school.

Measurements:
Cardstock 3.5" x 6"
Score 3.5" side at 3/8" ,  3/4"
Score 6" side at 1.75", 2-1/8"

Country Livin' Father's Day SBTD Blog Hop May 2018

Hello Hivers,

Welcome to the monthly Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop for the month of May.  This month our theme is focused on Mother's or Father's Day projects.  Since Mother's Day has already come and gone, I have decided to feature some Father's Day projects.

The main images on the projects are all from the Country Livin' stamp set.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings*.  The Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper* adds just the right touch of masculinity to these projects.  I used card sketches #21 and #25, by Dawn G., for my cards but I changed a few things to better fit my needs. (Click each title to see her original version.)

You all know that I had to make a 3D project.  I made a simple box that holds 2 chocolate bars.  Below the photos are the measurements for the box.

Box Measurements:
6-1/8" x 5.75"
Score long side at: 5/8", 2.75", 3-3/8", 5.5"
Score short side at: 5/8" and 5-1/8"
DSP:  2" x 4-3/8"

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to the Hive today.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Remember, this is a Blog Hop, the excitement continues...

Hop on over to Carly's blog...she is up next in the Blog Hop.

Quilted Christmas Hershey's Nugget Box

Hello Hivers,

Yes, I am loving making these little boxes to hold these delicious Hershey's Nuggets.  This box fits 4 of the candies inside.  This is the first project I have made using the Quilted Christmas DSP stack.  The sentiment on the box is from the Wishes All Aglow stamp set.

Oh, just in case you need to know... the DSP around the candy is 3" x 1".   I have included the template for this box as well.

Sweet & Sour Valentine

Hello Hivers,

I made this box to hold a box of candy my daughter wanted to give to her BFF.  I found a wonderful FREE Valentine's Day Card printable over at Miss Zee.  I will be sharing the gift she gave the rest of her class soon.  I used Real Red card stock and the Sending Love DSP stack to create the box.

Measurements for Box

Card Stock: 8.5" x 9.5"
Score long side at:  3.75", 4.5", 8.25", 9"
Score short side at:  0.75", 7", 7.75"

DSP:  3.5" x 6"

See images below for cutting and adhering.

Note:  I put the box of candy inside while adhering the card stock.  The back flap doesn't make it all the way to the edge...almost but not.  It is a tight fit.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Candy Milk Carton

Hello Hivers,

This is a simple milk carton style box.  It is shorter and wider than most.  I found a video tutorial on Pinterest by Sam H. on how to put this cutie together.  Here is a link to the video.  As you can see from the photo...I filled my box with the soft peppermints.  This was a part of a gift set I made for the Assistant Principal at my daughters school.  I hope she enjoyed it.

Ferrero Explosion

Hello Hivers,

I made two of these cute little boxes.  I gave them to teachers at my daughters school.  I love the size.  It is a perfect fit for two of the candies.  One of my local grocery stores had the candy on sale, buy one get one free.  I couldn't pass up that deal.  I bought loads of this candy because I knew I would be making lots of little gifts for people.  It worked out great.

Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Ferrero Rocher Star

Hello Hivers,

I found a tutorial on Pinterest on how to make these Star shaped treat holders.  They are the perfect fit for one Ferrero Rocher chocolate.  I think they are super cute.  I love the little tag made using the Father Christmas stamp set.  It was just the right size for these little beauties.

Until next time....Buzzz you later.

A Spooky Treat

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a very special treat.  I found some Black Cherry and Black Grape bubble gum pops at my local dollar store.  I just had to get them.  I love how the stick is black too.  The best part about these lolly pops is that they turn your tongue black.  LOL  They are called Tongue Painters.    Yes, I had to try one...or two.  Anyway, I made these lolly pop holders using one of the specialty sheets from the Halloween Night Designer Series Paper pack.  Take a look at the top portion of page 50 of the Holiday Catalog...you will see where I got the idea from.

Supplies:

Spooky Fun stamp set
Halloween Night DSP
Smokey Slate cardstock
Basic Gray Ink
Halloween Night Baker's Twine
Scalloped Tag Topper punch
1/8" Handheld Circle punch
Mini Treat Bag Thinlits

Until next time....Buzzz you later.
