The Stone 3D Embossing Folder adds so much texture to the background. The Stitched So Sweetly Dies are so versatile. It kind of looks like a Honey Bee in the middle of that Gold Foil circle. You have to squint to see it. LOL

This just may be my favorite alternate card thus far. I wanted to use the retiring In Colors, and I think it came out great. I used Powder Pink, Berry Burst, and Fresh Fig to stamp the rose. I used the Stamparatus to make sure the images were lined up. I paired the Paper Pumpkin stamp set with the Wonderful Romance stamp set. I love that the Sentimental Rose set is Distinctive. It really looks great.

Here is my first alternate card for this months kit. I took one of the card bases and stamped the large rose image all over in Gray Granite (stamped off first). I sponged on some Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo. Next, I added some So Saffron color to the corrugated banner. Finally I embellished with some Faceted Dots and spritz the card with some Shimmer Paint and alcohol mix.

Today I am sharing a card that was inspired by Dawn. She featured a technique that she is calling; Easy Stained Glass Glitter. You can see her card HERE. Boy was she right! This technique is very easy and has beautiful results. I am anxious to try this with other stamp sets, like the ones coming soon in the Holiday Catalog.

Wowzers! I love this card. All the different layers add just enough to the project. I had to resist adding Wink of Stella. I didn't want to distract from the "root" of the card. I was thinking of my niece when I made this card. She is going through a rough time right now and I just wanted to let her know how Wonderful she is. We All Love You, My Dear Niece.

If you look on page 17 of the Annual Catalog, you will see a gorgeous card. I just had to make my version of it. I had fun choosing all the colors. The Stitched Labels Framelits are so much fun to work with. Below you will find a list of all the colors I used and a photo of the inside of the card.

This card was made using one of the new stamp sets, Accented Blooms, that will be available in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog starting June 1, 2018. It coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch.
I inked up one of my clear acrylic blocks using the Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, and Rich Razzleberry Classic ink pads. I spritzed it with a heavy mist of water before stamping onto my Whisper White cardstock to make this gorgeous background. I stamped the floral image twice so that I could have some flowers to pop up. You can't really see it, but I used the Clear Wink of Stella over the entire background.

Hello Hivers,
Today I am sharing cards I made to take with me on my 19th wedding anniversary cruise. I plan on using them to hold the tips we give the room attendant and dining room waiter. I made another set of 5 that I will share soon.
I used the new 2018-2020 In Colors in creating these Thank You Narrow Note Cards. The Love What You Do stamp set looks good in any color. The thank you sentiment fits nicely in the Tailored Tag Punch. I added some of the new Faceted Dots for a bit more interest.

Welcome to the monthly Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop for the month of May. This month our theme is focused on Mother's or Father's Day projects. Since Mother's Day has already come and gone, I have decided to feature some Father's Day projects.
The main images on the projects are all from the Country Livin' stamp set. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings*. The Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper* adds just the right touch of masculinity to these projects. I used card sketches #21 and #25, by Dawn G., for my cards but I changed a few things to better fit my needs. (Click each title to see her original version.)
You all know that I had to make a 3D project. I made a simple box that holds 2 chocolate bars. Below the photos are the measurements for the box.
Box Measurements:
6-1/8" x 5.75"
Score long side at: 5/8", 2.75", 3-3/8", 5.5"
Score short side at: 5/8" and 5-1/8"
DSP: 2" x 4-3/8"
