Deck the Halls

Hello Hivers,

Here are two Christmas cards I made using the new Merry Mice stamp set.  I also used Lovely as a Tree.  I just love using non-traditional colors for Christmas.  I chose Peekaboo Peach and Wild Wasabi.  You can't really see it in the photos, but I added Wink of Stella to the Softly Falling snow, hat, lights, and ornaments.

An Oldie, yet a Goodie

Hello Hivers,

Today I thought I would share a couple of masculine looking cards.  I know I seen this design on Pinterest or something, but I can't seem to find it to give the originator their due credit.  I used the Bohemian Designer Series Paper for the background strip.  I just love the way that the Whisper White card stock makes the center image pop.  The Island Indigo and Blackberry Bliss really look good together.  And what to say about the Oldie, yet a Goodie stamp that I used?  Lovely as a Tree has been around since I started stamping.  This set is a must have.  It is very versatile.  I just love it.

White Christmas with a POP!

I trust everyone enjoyed their Christmas. I know I did. I love spending time with those I love. Here is the 3rd design I mailed out this year. Of course, I CASE'd it. I have Kathy to thank for this wonderful card. She did such an awesome job. Click her name to check out her original post.

Shimmer Brads, White Embossing Powder, Cherry Cobbler Quilted Satin Ribbon, Tag Corner Punch(retired) and the Snow Burst Embossing Folder

Measurements:

Tag: Black 3.5" x 2.5"

White 3.25" x 2.25"

Cardstock: Basic Black Base 5.5" x 8.5" scored at 4.25"

White Embossed & Sentiment 5.25" x 1"

White Middle 5.25" x 2"

Lovely Sympathy

Hello Hivers,
Isn't this card Gorgeous! I made this for a friend of my husband. I used Brushed Silver and Basic Black card stock. I stamped the Lovely as a Tree set using black StazOn then stamped it again using Whisper White Craft ink. The sentiment is from the set, Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Happy 10th Anniversary

I am back. I have been super busy with graduations, Mother's Day, and today....Today is my 10th wedding anniversary. I made this card for my DH. He loves this stamp set: Lovely as a Tree. Haunting Halloween

Hello Hivers,

I am so sorry for the late post. I tried my hand at another Zindorf. I just love the brayered/sponged backgrounds. I used images from the Haunting Halloween and Lovely as a Tree stamp sets. I used Summer Sun, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock. The ink colors are Apricot Appeal, More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Night of Navy, Not Quite Navy, Basic Black and Whisper White. I used Stampin Write Markers to color the cat. I also used my silver Zig Painty and white gel pen.

Joseph's Coat--Thanksgiving Swap

Here is a card I made for a Thanksgiving swap. It was my first time using this technique. The technique is called Joseph's Coat. Fall Scrappin'

Hello Hivers,

Sorry for the late post. I got back home in the wee hours of the morning. My husband took our sons to their first NFL game on Sunday. Buffalo @ Jacksonville. The Jags lost (soo sad). But my fellas had so much fun. I guess that makes up for their team loosing.

Now on to our Stampin' Buzzziness. Here are two 6x6 Fall scrap book pages. I cased this from someone on SCS. I just love the combination of colors. The background was stamped using Lovely as Tree stamp set. These pages were very quick and easy. My husband thought I used DSP. I used these pages in a scrap book I made for my sister-in-law and another for a friend. I hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

Double Flap - Sympathy

Hello Hivers,

Today I want to share with you a card I made for my Grandmother, when her mom passed. I used Lovely As a Tree stamp set for the image and Brighter Tomorrow (retired) for the sentiment. Enjoy the card.

I visited Dawns site this morning and was so inspired. I seen this video, Who am I, and it just brightened up my morning. Watch the clip and I hope it brightens you day as well.
