Festive Phrases - Wine Bottle Tag

Hello Hivers,

I made this tag to fit over a bottle of wine.  With Christmas quickly approaching, I thought I would get an early start on my gift giving ideas.  I love the mono tone of this Silver and White tag.

The sentiment from Festive Phrases was heat embossed using Silver Embossing Powder.  I cut the Foil Snowflake in half to make it appear larger.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Make a Wish Card & Tag Set

Hello Hivers,

Summer is coming and that means Birthdays in my family.  So many birthdays!  I have been making so many sets of cards and today is no different.  I made 2 of each color and made matching gift tags and envelopes.   I am loving the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack along with the Party Wishes stamp set...So many options.  I seen the design for this card on Pinterest.  There are so many talented stampers out there.  If you are like me and have trouble coming up with designs, don't feel bad if you have to CASE.

Oh What Fun

Hello Hivers,

Christmas is quickly approaching.   It's time to start shopping for our loved ones.  If you are like me, you will wrap the gifts as soon as you bring them home (no peeking).  Gift tags are a great way to decorate those packages and a way to remember which gift belongs to who.

The Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit from Stampin' Up! is an AwEsOmE idea for the Holidays.  The kit can be found on Page 5 of the Holiday Catalog.

See what the buzzz is all about in the video below.

Below is a list of additional products needed to complete these wonderful gift tags.

A Fun Fold Wedding and a Tag

Hello Hivers,

This is the card I made for one of my dearest friends daughter.  She got married yesterday and it was beautiful.

Since I designed her wedding invitation, I knew the wedding colors.  I have been sharing samples of wedding favors for a while now that I designed with this wedding in mind.

I only used one stamp set to create this Fun Fold Card.  The stamp set is called:  For the New Two.  I just love it.

I used Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, and Brushed Silver card stock.  I stamped all the images using Blackberry Bliss ink.  I added a pop of color with the Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Bitty Butterfly, and the Elegant Butterfly punches.

Below is the matching Gift Tag I made using all the same supplies, just adding the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

A Gift Tag Rainbow

Hello Hivers,

On Friday, I shared some gift tags that were inspired by Pootles.  Well, I had also made these tags.  They are almost duplicates of her tags with one minor change, the sentiment.  I just love all these bright colors.  I am so ready for SPRING.

Perpetually Inspired

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a gift set that was inspired by the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Project Kit (#137950) in the 2015 Occasions catalog (pg. 17).

The birthday cards I made for this set uses the Delightful Dozen stamp set.

My gift tags were inspired by Pootles, she does great work..  I used the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set along with the Hostess set, Hello There.
This is how I set up my stamps to create the gift tag.

I also was over on Pootles blog when I seen the gift tag box.  I followed her instructions and just added a lid to my box.

The dimensions for the lid are as follows:
Cut - 4 1/16" x 3 9/16" Score - 3/4" on all 4 sides.

After making all of this, it was only right to make a box to hold the cards.  This box can hold 12 layered and embellished cards with envelopes.  I really enjoyed making this gift set.
Box dimensions:

Bottom:  Cut - 10" x 8 1/2"  Score - at 2" on all 4 sides
Lid:  Cut - 8 1/16" x 6 9/16"  Score - at 1" on all 4 sides
DSP: 1 at 5 7/8" x 4 1/4"    2 at 4 1/4" x 3/4"   2 at 5 7/8" x 3/4"

Cardstock:  Baked Brown Sugar, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White
Ink:  Baked Brown Sugar
Ribbon:  Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin, Silver 1/8"
DSP:  Lullaby
Punches:  1 1/4 Circle, Scalloped Tag Topper
Other:  Square Framelits, MDS

Grateful

Hello Hivers,

I designed this quick and easy card for a day of caring and sharing at one of the Senior Citizen facilities in my city.  A group of youths spend the day with the Seniors crafting, performing, and serving lunch.  A good time was had by all.
I will be sharing two other cards we made that day as well.  So stayed tuned and..

Project Holiday

Hello Hivers,

When I received my order from the New Holiday Catalog, I couldn't wait to play with my goodies.  I just made a simple tag to start.  I placed some of the All is Calm Designer Washi Tape onto some Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out using the Note Tag Punch.  I added a sentiment from the Project Life Holiday Cheer Photopolymer stamp set and a little Silver 1/8" ribbon to finish it off.

Graduation Thank You & Weekly Deals

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing the card that I made for my son to send out to all the friends and family that came out or sent a gift to help us celebrate his high school graduation.  I used the Million & One stamp set for the sentiment.  This card was very quick and easy.  But I love the way it came out.  I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create the focal point.

I also used some retired DSP, ribbon, and In Color card stock for this project.

Here are the Weekly Deals for June 24, 2014

Happy Juneteenth Day!

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for one of my daughter's friends.  I made it to match the box I shared HERE.  This was the first time that I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.  I think I am going to really enjoy this product.  There are so many things that can be done with it.  I also used the Boho Blossoms punch for the little flowers with pearls in the middle.  The stamp set I used is called Another Great Year.  The DSP is retired, but it is from the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP.  I used coordinating card stock in the colors of Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush, Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White.  The ribbon is also retired.
