Box in a Bohemian Bag

Hello Hivers,

I created this cute box in a bag to hold Bath & Body Works shower gel.  This would make a great gift presentation for any occasion.  I love the rich colors in the Bohemian Designer Series Paper.  I added a little border at the bottom of the bag using the Bohemian Borders stamp set.  The main image can be found in the Feel Goods stamp set.  The Decorative Label punch was just what I needed to add some stability for the closure of this bag.

To make the box I started with a 3.5" x 4.75" piece of card stock and scored all four sides at .75".
The DSP was cut at 12" x 7.25" and the top and bottom solid card stock was cut at 11" x .75".

A Gift Tag Rainbow

Hello Hivers,

On Friday, I shared some gift tags that were inspired by Pootles.  Well, I had also made these tags.  They are almost duplicates of her tags with one minor change, the sentiment.  I just love all these bright colors.  I am so ready for SPRING.

Perpetually Inspired

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a gift set that was inspired by the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Project Kit (#137950) in the 2015 Occasions catalog (pg. 17).

The birthday cards I made for this set uses the Delightful Dozen stamp set.

My gift tags were inspired by Pootles, she does great work..  I used the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set along with the Hostess set, Hello There.
This is how I set up my stamps to create the gift tag.

I also was over on Pootles blog when I seen the gift tag box.  I followed her instructions and just added a lid to my box.

The dimensions for the lid are as follows:
Cut - 4 1/16" x 3 9/16" Score - 3/4" on all 4 sides.

After making all of this, it was only right to make a box to hold the cards.  This box can hold 12 layered and embellished cards with envelopes.  I really enjoyed making this gift set.
Box dimensions:

Bottom:  Cut - 10" x 8 1/2"  Score - at 2" on all 4 sides
Lid:  Cut - 8 1/16" x 6 9/16"  Score - at 1" on all 4 sides
DSP: 1 at 5 7/8" x 4 1/4"    2 at 4 1/4" x 3/4"   2 at 5 7/8" x 3/4"

Cardstock:  Baked Brown Sugar, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White
Ink:  Baked Brown Sugar
Ribbon:  Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin, Silver 1/8"
DSP:  Lullaby
Punches:  1 1/4 Circle, Scalloped Tag Topper
Other:  Square Framelits, MDS

MIA

Hello Hivers,

Sorry I haven't been posting any projects.  Life just happened.  I have a new college student (my oldest son) and he started working (for the first time, ever).  The new school year started for my other three children recently, as well.  I've been stamping, just hadn't found the time to post on my blog.  Carole D. thanks for your concern.  I am doing great.  I hope to have some free time this weekend to post all the wonderful projects that I have been working on.

Today I am sharing the card and box that I gave to my mother for her birthday.  You can't have a hat without a hat box, right?  I used a tutorial offered by Tanya Bell.

Until next time....Buzzz you later,
Honeybee
