Hello Hivers,
It's almost that time. The day we all show our love and appreciation for the Fathers in our lives is quickly approaching. Are you ready? This would be a perfect card for any father. Would you believe this is the first time I used the Geared Up Garage stamp set as well as the Pigment Sprinkles. I absolutely love the way this card turned out. The bright colors just make me happy.
I also stamped the inside using a sentiment from the A Good Man stamp set.

Hello Hivers,
Sorry that I have been missing in action. A lot has been going on this summer. My family has had to endure 3 deaths (1 friend and 2 family members).
I am trying to get my creative MOJO back. I started by choosing this stamp set because of the name, Peaceful Place, as well as it being a scene that needed to be colored. I love the way this turned out. I decided not to add a sentiment until I need to use it. It is a very versatile set.

Hello Hivers,
Todays cards feature the Sale-A-Bration set, Beautiful Peacock. I also used a stamp from Eclectic Expressions to help create the background. I did a watercolor wash on Shimmery White cardstock using Pool Party, Sweet Sugarplum, and Flirty Flamingo ink. I did all my stamping in Basic Black. I added some Glitter
Enamel Dots to finish the cards off. What do you think? Cute, right.

Hello Hivers,
I made this card for my cousin. He got married last month. Just about everything I used to make this card is retired...Sorry. I CASE'd it from Pinterest. I had to make it...It is sooooo pretty. The gold envelope liner came from the current Watercolor Christmas Project Kit. This card is so sparkly in real life. I just couldn't capture it all with the camera.

Hello Hivers,
I just had to make this card after CASE'ing the catalog last Friday. Don't you just love it? I really like the watercoloring on this card. The Bella & Friends stamp set is so cute. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think.

Hello Hivers,
I did a bit of water coloring on todays card. After I stamped and colored everything, I used bleach to pull the color off the paper in the places where I wanted snow and/or smoke. I used the bleach on the windows of the train, as well. I think the Gold Wink of Stella would have looked awesome on this train. I may have to make another card and try that.

Hello Hivers,
Here are two more cards using the Merry Mice stamp set. I am in love with this Holiday Catalog. I used Whisper White Note Cards with Water Color paper as the top layer. I have just a wee bit of Sweet Sugarplum 3/8" Glitter Ribbon under the sentiment on one card a some Gold Metallic Thread on the other card. I dotted each card with some Multipurpose Glue and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on it. Just needed some bling to jazz up the background.

Hello Hivers,
Today I am sharing the card that I made for my son to send out to all the friends and family that came out or sent a gift to help us celebrate his high school graduation. I used the Million & One stamp set for the sentiment. This card was very quick and easy. But I love the way it came out. I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create the focal point.
I also used some retired DSP, ribbon, and In Color card stock for this project.

Hello Hivers,
I think I am getting my "MOJO" back. I made this card for an old SCS sketch challenge (sc28). I wanted to use my new set Soft Summer stamp set (available 4/1/09). This is what I came up with. I think it turned out pretty good. Don't you? I used Brocade Blue, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie and Very Vanilla card stock. I also used Old Olive ribbon and brads. I water colored the 4 light blue flowers and the main image is faux water colored. I colored the image with my markers right onto the stamp, sprayed with a mist of water and then stamped onto my paper. I also used the Torn Edge technique. Until next time.....

Hello Hivers,
I decided to participate in the
Jazzy Challenge this week. I love these colors together. This was the first time I ever used Water Color Paper. I know right...what was I thinking taking this long.
I have really been missing my friends and family since moving 2 years ago. That is what inspired me to use this sentiment from the Three Little Words stamp set.

Supplies: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black card stock and ink..Green Galore Classic ink, TT grosgrain ribbon, Pretties Kit-flowers and pearls, Aqua Painter, Word Window punch, DD Glitter, Echoes of Kindness stamp set

Hello Hivers,
I made some Thanksgiving treat boxes. I made all three from the same 8-1/2 x 11 sheets of Kiwi Kiss card stock. I found the tutorial on SCS under resources. The boxes tie at the top for closure. The really neat thing about these three boxes is that they nest inside of each other. I water colored all the images. A Flower for All Seasons, Harvest Home, and the hostess stamp set Occasions Collections were used.
Until next time.....
