Daisy Lane Invite

Hello Hivers, 

Aren't these cards just stunning?  I CASE'd a card from Wow Nola Creations.  As always, I changed up a few things to make the card my own.  I love the richness of the colors.  I used two stamp sets while designing the cards...Daisy Lane and One-Stop Box.  The One-Stop Box stamp set is a demonstrator only purchase. I used the sentiment, You're Invited, from this set.  I spritzed the entire Whisper White panel with Shimmer Paint mixed with some rubbing alcohol.  I popped a gold Designer Element onto the centers  of the punched "sunflowers".  

You can really see the detail of the Subtle Embossing Folder in this photo.  Oh, and look at the little splatter and Burlap Ribbon adding a little more texture.

Petal Passion Wedding or Anniversary Card

Hello Hivers, 

I am so thrilled at the way this card turned out.  I looks so elegant with the Powder Pink strip down the side.  I used one of the large cards from the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack and just added a Lots of Labels die wit a sentiment.  I accented the area with an element from the Petals & More Thinlits.  The Pearl Basic Jewels were the final touch.

Retired -So In Love -Wedding Card

Hello Hivers, 

I made this card for my cousin.  He got married last month.  Just about everything I used to make this card is retired...Sorry.  I CASE'd it from Pinterest.  I had to make it...It is sooooo pretty.  The gold envelope liner came from the current Watercolor Christmas Project Kit.  This card is so sparkly in real life.  I just couldn't capture it all with the camera.

Wedding Wings

This cute little candy holder would make a great wedding favor.  It holds a Hershey Nugget inside.  I think I seen this idea at Simply Simple Stamping.  This project was definitely simple.  From the butterfly closure to the tiny flowers on the front...everything about it is just adorable.

Monogramed Favor

Hello Hivers,

This is a monogramed wedding favor.  I made it just as a sample for my mothers friend.  I love the pop of Cherry Cobbler against the neutral Gray.  There are a variety of items that could be tucked away inside.  This one was holding a chocolate square.

A Fun Fold Wedding and a Tag

Hello Hivers,

This is the card I made for one of my dearest friends daughter.  She got married yesterday and it was beautiful.

Since I designed her wedding invitation, I knew the wedding colors.  I have been sharing samples of wedding favors for a while now that I designed with this wedding in mind.

I only used one stamp set to create this Fun Fold Card.  The stamp set is called:  For the New Two.  I just love it.

I used Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, and Brushed Silver card stock.  I stamped all the images using Blackberry Bliss ink.  I added a pop of color with the Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Bitty Butterfly, and the Elegant Butterfly punches.

Faceted Gift Boxes

Hello Hivers,

I have seen these boxes everywhere.  There are several tutorials out on Youtube and other blogs.  I don't remember exactly which one I used for the larger of my boxes but the small box tutorial can be found HERE.  I made the small box as a wedding favor sample.  The larger one was made first, as a test run.  I used a stack of 12"x12"designer paper that someone gave me.  It was very thick, great for boxes.

Forever Box

Hello Hivers,

Yes, this is another wedding favor sample.  I seen this box on Pinterest and just had to make it.  I love the size...the candy of choice fits perfectly inside.  I think this would look good made with Whisper White card stock and decorated with the Gold Foil paper and Early Espresso card stock...you know, to match the candy.

Oooo, maybe I should make that.  :)

Another Wedding Favor

Hello Hivers,

Today is a very special day in my house.  My husband and I are celebrating our
16th Wedding Anniversary!  
Happy Anniversary, Babe...Love you much.


Now on to today's project.  This is a cute little box that I made as sample for my friend.  Yes, I have made a lot of samples.  LOL I really like the size of this box.  The idea came from Sam, over at Pootles.co.uk.

Chocolate Butterfly

Hello Hivers,

I have been busy making wedding favor samples for a couple of people. Here is a small box that I put together using their colors...Basic Gray and Cherry Cobbler.  I embossed the butterfly from Papillon Potpourri and punched it out using the coordinating punch, Elegant Butterfly.  I used the candies I had on hand just to show the size of the box.

Ghirardelli Wedding Favor

Hello Hivers,

This is a quick and easy wedding favor that I made for a friend.  I used Pool Party and Elegant Eggplant card stock on this project.  All you need is a piece of card stock cut at 2.75" x 6.5" and "bend" it over the chocolate square.  I stapled mine shut and covered it with embellishments.  This is another Pinterest find.

Side Note:  HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, MOOKIE MOOK!!! (my niece)

Mr. & Mrs. Favor

Hello Hivers,

I've been making wedding favor samples for a few people.  I thought I would share the ones that didn't get chosen...until after the Big Day.  This favor holds 2 Hershey's Nuggets.  I used Pool Party and Elegant Eggplant for the colors with Silver Glimmer paper for a little sparkle.


 The stamp sets and the ribbon are retired :(

Wedding Announcements

Hello Hivers,

My sister-in-law had a very small wedding.  She just invited her siblings (and their families), parents and the grooms siblings and parents.  It was very nice.  I had never been to such an intimate wedding.  She was beautiful and her groom was handsome.

I decided to make her these wedding announcements to let the rest of their family know that they had gotten married.  I hope she has sent them all out by now.
