March 2021 Paper Pumpkin - Last Alternate Card

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing my last alternate card using the March 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up!.
I used the FREE stencils and sponge that came in the kit to create a mountain lake scene.  This was my first try using the stencils.  I think I did a good job.  I added Wink of Stella to the sunday's and lake, but you can't really see it on the photo.

As always, I want to thank you for Buzzzing by the Hive today.

Happy Birthday - Enjoy The Moment

Hello Hivers,

I was very surprised how much I liked this stamped image.  The Lotus Seed Pod is actually very nice.  I paired it with the Basic Patterns Decorative Masks.

I used Pear Pizzazz and Rich Razzleberry ink and cardstock.  I colored the seed pods using a Blender Pen because I wanted to better control the amount of color going down.  I can't wait to see what else I can create with this stamp set.

Enjoy The Moment Poppy Card

Hello Hivers,

I really love the way this card turned out.  I used the Enjoy The Moment stamp set along with the Antiqued Corners & Slides Elements.  I sponged some Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider on a 3.5" x 4.75" piece of Whisper White.  I think I had a bit of Merry Merlot on my sponge when I used the Cinnamon Cider, but I still love it.  I splattered some water and Wink of Stella all over the card after embossing it with the Subtles Embossing Folder.  I stamped everything using Soft Suede Classic Ink.

As always, I want to thank you for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

By The Dock Sympathy Card

Hello Hivers,

This is the sympathy card I made for one of my hubby's friends.  He lost his brother.  I will be so happy when I can stop making these types of cards.

I used the Hippo & Friends Dies to cut out the sentiment after heat embossing it.  The birds in the sky are from the High Tide stamp set.  I am not sure if you can see it on this photo, but I spritz water all over the card and it make the water look like it is in motion (to me, anyway.  LoL).

Sponging Colors:
Cajun Craze - ink and cardstock
Blackberry Bliss - ink and cardstock
Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, and Pumpkin Pie

Tasteful Touches Good Things Card with Video

Hello Hivers,

What do you think of this gorgeous card?  I really love the way it turned out.  It's so soft, yet it has masculine elements to it, like the woodgrain designer paper from the In Good Taste DSP pack.  You can't see it in the photo, but this card sparkles.  It has wink of stella all over the flowers and feathers.  Well, that's enough chit chat.  On to the tutorial.

Enjoy the video.

Beautifully Braided Ombre Friendship

Hello Hivers,

Wowzers!  Isn't this card just gorgeous?!  I love it.  I sponged a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Ombre technique.  I have had this paper on my desk for a few weeks trying to decide what to do with it.  When I seen the Beautifully Braided stamp set, I knew right away that it was a match.  I am working on keeping my cards simple.  I think I achieved it here.  What do you think?  Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts.

Small Memories & More Fold Flat Box

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a box I created to fit the 10 Magnolia Lane Cards & More I shared last week.  I used a card from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack to decorate the front of the box.  The sentiment is a sticker from the card pack.  I layered the card on a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and adhered with dimensionals.  I sponged all the score lines of the box with Early Espresso ink to give it a more vintage look.  To finish it off I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter to the flowers.

Supplies:
Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack #149554
Magnolia Lane Cards & More #152728
Mossy Meadow Cardstock #133676
Petal Pink Cardstock #146985
Early Espresso Classic Ink #147114

Detailed Trio Punch #146320
Simply Scored Scoring Tool #122334

Happy Father's Day!

Hello Hivers,

This is the card I made for my wonderful husband.  He is such a great father to our four children.  We are so blessed to have been chosen to share our lives with such a magnificent man.

A Good Man stamp set is such an awesome set.  It can be used for several different occasions. I love celebrating the men in my life.

This is the inside of the card.  I hand wrote "Happy Father's Day" when we all signed it.

Needle & Thread Birthday

Hello Hivers,

This card was made from scraps.  I had a few items left over from various projects and decided to use them.  I sponged the main image using Rich Razzleberry ink, I sponged multiple layers.  The final color ended up looking more like Merry Merlot.  That is the ink I used for the sentiment.  My photo did not come out as well as I would have liked. This card really sparkles in person.

Best Catch Retirement Card

Hello Hivers,

Here is a card I made for one of my hubby's co-workers and good friends.  Well, I guess he is no longer a coworker, since he retired.  I had so much fun making this card.  I don't get to make masculine cards often, so when I do, I try to enjoy every moment of it.  It is a challenge, but that is part of the fun. I used the Well Said and Sunshine Sayings stamp sets for all the sentiments.  Below is a picture of the inside of the card.

Spirited Snowmen - SBTD December 2018 Blog Hop

Hello Hivers,

Welcome to another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop.  This month we are making projects that are Non-Holiday but reflect the season/weather in the area in which we live.  Well, I live in Florida and, despite popular beliefs, it does get cold here.  LoL  Our cold is not the same as the cold in other parts of the USA (thank goodness).

Below is the card I made for the Hop.  I used two stamps sets in creating this card.  I started out with the Spirited Snowmen and added a few images from High Tide.  I sponged the background using a few "beach" colors.  I had to add the "sandman".  People in Florida really do make them on the beach.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to the Hive today.  Sooo...What did you think of my project for this Hop?  Leave a comment and let me know.

Remember, this is a Blog Hop, the excitement continues...

Hop on over to Carly's blog...she is up next in the Blog Hop.

Rooted In Nature

Hello Hivers,

I am loving the Rooted In Nature Suite.  The stamp set is so classic and the framelits are divine.  These cards were inspired by a color combination I seen used on Pinterest.  I will try and film a video on the technique used here (no promises).  I have another card idea floating around in my head.  I've added single photos as well.  I think you can see the Wink of Stella much better on the tree card.

Enjoy your day.

Hold on to Hope

Hello Hivers,

It's getting difficult to find the time to stamp.  Summer is officially here.  The children are home all day with me.  I need to get them into some activities.
I was able to sit down with the Hold On To Hope stamp set and create this wonderful card.  I also used the Waterfront stamp set.  I love the colors in this card.  I started with the idea of using the torn edge technique.  That is how I created the "mountains".  Everything else just kind of fell into place.

COLORS:
Early Espresso
Coastal Cabana
Bermuda Bay
Daffodil Delight
Calypso Coral
Garden Green
Old Olive
Basic Black

Until next time....Buzzz you later.
