Best Catch Retirement Card

Hello Hivers,

Here is a card I made for one of my hubby's co-workers and good friends.  Well, I guess he is no longer a coworker, since he retired.  I had so much fun making this card.  I don't get to make masculine cards often, so when I do, I try to enjoy every moment of it.  It is a challenge, but that is part of the fun. I used the Well Said and Sunshine Sayings stamp sets for all the sentiments.  Below is a picture of the inside of the card.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Postcard Pals Shadow Box Card - SBTD Blog Hop June 2018

Hello Hivers,

Welcome to the Stampers By The Dozen June Blog Hop.  This month we are focusing on children.  How fun is that!  When I seen the Postcard Pals stamp set in the New Annual Catalog, I knew I was going to be using it for this Blog Hop.  All of the little critters are super cute.  You know I couldn't resist a stamp set that has line art that I can color.

Are you ready to see my project?!  I am ready for you to see it.  Here it is...

The card I made is also a shadow box.  When it is opened you can see the 3D effect of the shadow box.  I placed a piece of Tranquil Textures DSP on the inside to make a faux water scene.  The wood pillar the pelican is standing on was made using the Lemon Builder Punch and the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack.

I hope you have enjoyed your visit to the Hive today.  So...What did you think of my project for this month?  Leave a comment and let me know.

Remember, this is a Blog Hop, the excitement continues...

Hop on over to Carly's blog...she is up next in the Blog Hop.

Little Critters SBTD February Blog Hop

Hello Hivers,

Welcome to the Stampers By The Dozen February Blog Hop.  This month our theme is "Critters".  We were to create our projects using any animal or insect stamp set that is current.  I decided that I wanted to use the smaller images in each set (that I used) that can be easily overlooked.  Well...here is what I came up with.

Here I used a technique called Paper Piecing.  I stamped the images from the We Must Celebrate stamp set onto the Painted With Love SDSP and cut out the portion of the images I wanted and adhered them to my focal point on my card.

You may be able to see it better in the close up below.  All the projects use Wink of Stella on the main image.  You can definitely see the Wink of Stella better in the close up.

On the card below I used the same card layout.  I used the Flying Home stamp set along with the Celebrate You Thinlits, which is a FREE Sale-A-Bration selection.

You know I couldn't resist making a 3D item.  Below I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to create the project.  I paired it up with the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set for an adorable look.

I hope you enjoy the Blog Hop this month.  We have some pretty cool projects for you to see.

I have listed all the supplies used for these projects below.

Merry Patterns - Pinterest Inspired

Hello Hivers,

This card is super cute, right?!  I love it.  I seen a similar card on Pinterest.  I just love the way this turned out.  I really like the sparkle that the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape gives the project.  And do you see the cute little loops of green peeking out? Those are from the Little Love Framelits.  The colored Rhinestone Jewel popped on the deers nose is just the added something this card needed.

Buzzz on by tomorrow for the Stampers By The Dozen monthly Blog Hop.

Enjoy your day.

Lovely Friends SBTD Blog Hop - October 2017

Hello Hivers,

Welcome to another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop.  This month our theme is Masculine.  I find this to be one of the hardest things to design.  I decided to use the Lovely Friends stamp set for all my projects today.

I have made three cards and a little box.

This first card is using the Coffee Break DSP.  I cut out the sentiment using the Lots of Labels framelits and sponged around the edges with Pear Pizzazz.

This second card was made with a special person in mind.  He offered my family help during Hurricane Irma.  I just wanted to let him know how much his offer meant to me and my family.

I used the Wood Textures DSP Stack along with Colorful Seasons and Seasonal Layers thinlits.  The Burlap ribbon and Copper Trim are two of my favorites right now.

Here's a look at the inside and the matching envelope.

This last project started out as a simple one.  I like to make boxes, so I thought I would design one with the Masculine theme in mind.  I used the Eastern Palace Specialty DSP along with Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon.  Then I thought I should make the "Gift Box in a Card" that I've been seeing so much of on the internet.

Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Hop on over to Carly's Blog.  She is up next in the Blog Hop.

Vertical Greetings and Wood Textures DSP Stack

Hello Hivers,

I seen this card on Pinterest and had to CASE it.  I love the look of the logs peeking out.  I used the Vertical Greetings stamp set for the sentiment and the Seasonal Layers thinlits to add a little sparkle with Gold Foil Sheets.

Enjoy your day.

Wood Textures DSP Stack - Thank You

Hello Hivers,

I seen this card on Pinterest.  I just had to CASE it.

During the recent Hurricane (Irma), we had a few people reach out to our family and help us when we needed it.  This is one of the cards I made to say Thank You.

The card is so simple but it is very striking.

Hogs & Kisses

Hello Hivers,

I'm a little upset.  I filmed a video on how to make this cute card.   I finally got up the nerve to make a video tutorial and when I uploaded the video it was corrupted or something.   I have sound, just no image.  I don't know how to fix it.  UGH!

But....isn't this card the cutest?!  I just love it.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.
