Lovely Words

Hello Hivers,

Hello Hivers, 

Okay.  This has to be my favorite card that I have created with this stamp set, Blossoming Basket.  I embossed the Painted With Love SDSP with the Basket Weave 3D TIEF.  I think that is my favorite part.  I cut out the flowers and a bit of the basket and popped it up on Stampin' Dimensionals.  I added some Rhinestones and Glimmer Ribbon to add a little more sparkle.

Another Painted with Love Purse

Here is another purse using Intatwyne Designs instructions.  I am loving the way these purses look with this DSP.  I couldn't figure out what I wanted to put on a tag for the purse, so I just left it off.

Painted with Love Ghirardelli Box

Hello Hivers, 

You all know that I love making 3D projects (boxes, bags, etc.). I found the tutorial for this cute little box over on Splitcoast Stampers. I changed a few things with my box, but nothing major.  I could only fit 3 chocolate squares in my box, however, on the tutorial it seems that 4 should fit.  

I used the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper along with an image from the Lots of Love stamp set. The Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon was perfect for this project.

CASE'd Hedgehugs

Melon Mambo Painted with Love Purse

Hello Hivers, 

I made, yet another purse, using the Painted with Love SDSP.  I changed this one up a bit.  I made the flap with cardstock instead of the designer paper and changed the color of the strap.  I'm working on making a bigger version of this purse.  I will share it with you once I have completed it.  I want to give a big THANK YOU to Angelina from Intatwyne Designs for the YouTube tutorial for this purse.  If you can't tell, I really like it.

Little Critters SBTD February Blog Hop

Hello Hivers, 

Welcome to the Stampers By The Dozen February Blog Hop.  This month our theme is "Critters".  We were to create our projects using any animal or insect stamp set that is current.  I decided that I wanted to use the smaller images in each set (that I used) that can be easily overlooked.  Well...here is what I came up with.  

Here I used a technique called Paper Piecing.  I stamped the images from the We Must Celebrate stamp set onto the Painted With Love SDSP and cut out the portion of the images I wanted and adhered them to my focal point on my card.  

You may be able to see it better in the close up below.  All the projects use Wink of Stella on the main image.  You can definitely see the Wink of Stella better in the close up.

On the card below I used the same card layout.  I used the Flying Home stamp set along with the Celebrate You Thinlits, which is a FREE Sale-A-Bration selection.

You know I couldn't resist making a 3D item.  Below I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to create the project.  I paired it up with the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set for an adorable look.

Happy Valentine's Day

Here's a cute box I made with the Lots of Love Framelits.  I altered the box size by using 2 sheets of cardstock that measures 4" x 4.25" each.  I have photos below to show how I had to alter the lid of one side so it wouldn't show through the heart shaped window.

Party Pandas & Wood Words

Hello Hivers, 

I'm still playing with this sketch from last week, with the tag and hearts.  I decided to only use one embossing folder on this card and added the floral stamp image from Wood Words to the background instead.  I love the look.  I even snuck in a sentiment from Party Pandas at the bottom of the card.  These two images are not the focal point of the card, but I think they add so much.
