Here are all the alternates I haven't shared on my blog.

Below is the project originated by Kimberly Morris.

This (below) is not a project...I just made this on my desk and took a photo.  It was huge, couldn't fit on a card.  I just like the way it looks.  LoL

Count My Blessings Eclipse Card

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing my first attempt at making the, oh so popular, Eclipse card.  I now know that I need to tape down my Large Letters Framelits before running my cardstock through the Big Shot.  I used the Count My Blessings stamp set for the images and the word "Thanks" was created with the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set.  I colored all the images using the Stampin' Blends markers.  After everything was put together, I flicked Wink of Stella all over the card (you can't really see it in the photo).

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello Hivers,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.  Today I am sharing a video featuring a kit that can be easily overlooked in the Annual Catalog on Page 155.  It's the Build a Banner Kit.  It comes with everything you need except for the re-inker in the color of your choice.  Those can be found on Pages 137-141.

Enjoy the video.

My Paper Pumpkin September 2015

Hello Hivers,

So, as I stated previously, I didn't order the September 2015 Paper Pumpkin.  However, I did order 4 of the Refill Kits to make up some more of these cute bags to be used at Thanksgiving.  I must say I noticed some very big differences with the bags I used from the corner store and Stampin' Up! bags.
The SU! bags are smaller, but they are so much thicker, thereby, sturdier.  Having everything already cut and ready to go made this project super easy and quick to put together.
Because I only purchased the refill kit, I wasn't able to get the stamp set or ink spot.  So, on my tags I used the Trust God stamp set with Tangerine Tango classic ink.

June Gobble Gobble

Hello Hivers,

I seen these cute little gems on Stampin' Connection.  I fell in love and had to make them for myself.  I decorated my tables for Thanksgiving Dinner with them.  At the main table I used them back to back to make a napkin holder in the middle of the table.  It was super cute.  I wish I had thought to take a picture of the tables.  I was so busy with cooking and family, it just slipped my mind.

Until next time....

Day of Gratitude Bag

Hello Hivers,

I made these cute little box/bags to put the Day of Gratitude cards in.  There are 5 cards with envelopes in each bag.  Lots more could fit, however.  I made the bag using one sheet of 12 x 12 card stock.  I decorated it with More Mustard cut out with the Oval Accent Bigz Clear die and embossed with the Houndstooth Impressions Folder.  To keep the bag closed I used the Decorative Label punch with Tangerine Tango card stock and an Antique Brad with a velcro dot.  The leaves and sentiment both come from the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  Sorry, the Tangerine Tango ribbon is retired.  I enjoyed making this project from start to finish.

I want to thank you for buzzzing by the Hive.  I really appreciate all of your kind comments.

Until next time....Buzzz you later,
Honeybee

Double Gratitude

Hello Hivers,

This is the 5th and final card that I made for my DH and the ladies at the Retirement Home.  This card design was CASED from Holly Gould.  I made two cards with a few adjustments to the second one.  I used a lighter shade of green and a darker color for the sentiment.  I also added some paper piercing.

Pumpkin Pie Base 8.5 x 5.5
Cajun Craze 2.25 x 5.5 (emboss)
Soft Suede 3.75 x 3.75
Very Vanilla 3.5 x 3.5
About 6" of ribbon
Inks:  Always Artichoke/Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip/Early Espresso

Gratitude Twice Over

Hello Hivers,

Here is the 4th card I made for my hubby.  Well, I kinda made two slightly different cards because I didn't like the embossing on one of them.  This design came to me by the way of Jade Boteler.  I made my background paper for this card, as well, using stamps from the Day of Gratitude.  I like the introduction of the Rich Razzleberry in this fall card.  It really makes it pop.

Cajun Craze Base 11 x 4.25
Rich Razzleberry 3.25 x 5.25
Very Vanilla 5 x 3; 3.5 x 3.5; Wide Oval punch
Delicate Designs Embossing Folders (both)
Jewels and Ribbon
Inks:  Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie

Acorns

Hello Hivers,

Presenting the 3rd CASED card.  This one I seen over on Maria's blog.  I changed a few things, but the basic design is hers.  I had lots of fun creating my own DSP for this card.  I used the Medallion stamp in the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  You can't see it very well, but there is a pierced half circle on the Early Espresso square.  This card was quick and easy.

More Mustard Base 8.5 x 5.5
Very Vanilla 2.5" & 3/4 Circle punch; 4.25 x 1.5
Early Espresso  2.75 x 2.75; 1.75 x 4.25; 1" Circle punch
Inks:  More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, & Chocolate Chip
About 5" of ribbon

Dotted Gratitude

Hello Hivers,

This is the 2nd design of the cards my hubby asked for.  It is using the same stamp set as the card from Monday, Day of Gratitude. (I forgot to mention that Monday)  My favorite part of this card is the Soft Suede layer.  I love the texture that it gives to the card.  This, too, is CASED.  I got this design from Mindy over at Badabing Crafting.

Cajun Craze Base 11 x 4.25; 3.25 x 2
Soft Suede 4 x 5.25
Pumpkin Pie 3" Circle die (Emboss with Dots)
Comfort Cafe DSP 5 x 1.75
Very Vanilla 3 x 1.75
About 9" of ribbon
Inks: Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, & Pumpkin Pie

Four Square Gratitude

Hello Hivers,

My husband asked me to come up with 5 designs for Fall/Thanksgiving cards to make with some ladies at a Retirement Home.  Well, I am not so good with "coming up" with my own designs.  Sooo....Today I am sharing one of the cards that I CASED from Karen over at Two Friends Stamping.  I love the way this card uses the fall colors.

Early Espresso Base 8.5 x 5.5
Cajun Craze 3.5 x 3.75; 2.75 x 2.75; 2-1/8 x 1-3/8
Very Vanilla 2 x 1-5/16; 1.25 Square Punch
International Bazaar DSP 3.25 x 3.5
About 8" of ribbon
Inks: Old Olive,  Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, & Early Espresso

Tissue Box Cover

Hello Hivers,
Back to the basics. I had to go to SCS to get some ideas. Diane Zechman shared this wonderful tutorial to make a cover for the square tissue boxes. I love the way this turned out. My MOJO is slowly showing what its made of. ;-) I really like doing 3-D projects.

Season of Thanks-CASE'd

Hello Hivers,
It has been a while since I have posted. I apologize. My days have been full. Plus I had lost my creative MOJO. I found it again. I am so happy about that. It likes to runaway every now and then. I will have to keep an eye on it. LOL

I gently enticed my MOJO by doing a simple CASE to start off with. I love the way the card turned out. I wish I would have written down the blog/website where I found this card. I am so sorry ...... to the original creator.

Well....enough talking. Here it is.

Give Thanks

Hello Hivers,
I made this card for Thanksgiving. I love fall colors. I used Dusty Durango and Soft Suede card stock. The ribbon is also Dusty Durango (double side). I used the level one hostess set Holiday Best for the sentiment. The background was stamped using the stamp set Autumn Splendor...found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I spritzed Champagne Shimmer Paint over the entire card.
Enjoy your day.

Until next time.....
