Some things are great on their own but become epic when they are paired with something else: cereal and milk, toast and butter, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. We may be biased, but our favorite combo is our stamp sets and dies—and that’s what the Perfect Partners promotion is all about!
We created six new dies that coordinate with stamp sets in the 2022–2023 Annual Catalog and the July–December 2022 Mini Catalog. These coordinating dies will only be available during this promotion and will not be offered in any catalog (September 1-30, 2022).
These stamp sets and dies are available separately or as a bundle. By buying the bundle, you will save 10% off the retail price.
Put these wonderful stamp sets and dies together for more papercrafting fun! Order now!

I decided to make a bag using a technique that I have been seeing everywhere. I first seen this technique used with gift wrapping paper during the Christmas holiday.
Technically there is no measuring when making this bag. I just used a scrap piece of DSP and made a couple of folds. Here is a link to the first tutorial I seen using this method.
Until next time....Buzzz you later,

There are some products you just have to see in action before you realize how much you need them, right? This is one of them!
These new card dies come with extra die pieces that have versatile designs, so you can use them on other projects, not just flip cards. (The Circle Card Thinlits Die comes with 10 total pieces; the Label Card Thinlits Die comes with nine total pieces.)
With the number of dies you're getting, plus the die that creates the card itself, the price is a great value-especially to create an interactive card!
Promote mass production of these impressive "flip" cards. They would make great announcements, invitations, or Christmas cards.
These Thinlits Card Dies will be available at least through the 2013-2014 catalog year, so you can feel confident investing in them.
The main shape in the cards (circle and label) can work with a lot of our stamp images so you can create tons of different kinds of cards using many different stamp sets. Here are just a few suggestions to get you started:
Label Card Thinlits Die (item 133479):
Happy Day Stamp Set (item 130294 W item 130297 C)
Circle Card Thinlits Die (item 133480):
Worth the Wait Stamp (item 131094 W)
Five-Way Flower Stamp (item 131088 W)
Both card dies pair well with:
Oh, Hello Stamp Set (item 131931 W item 130733 C)
Yippee-Skippee! Stamp Set (item 131341 W item 131344 C)
Really Good Greetings Stamp Set (item 130330 W item 130333 C)
Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set (item 130324 W item 130327 C)
These dies also work well with our new magnetic platform (item 130658) so you can place the dies exactly where you want them!
I am so sad that this die, Holiday Stocking Bigz L, has retired. It is very versatile. I made this gift card holder for my sons classmate when they had a gift exchange for Christmas. I really need to keep up with my posts, because I know I CASE'd at least parts of this but I don't remember from who. Here's to keeping up.
I am putting together a technique book and I have decided to try out some new techniques. I tried 2 new techniques for today's card: Faux Patina and Round Easel Card. I love the way it turned out. I CASEd the layout from a fellow stamper. Are you surprised? LOL I used Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, and Marina Mist card stock. The stamp set that I used is called Punch Potpourri (retired, sorry). The opened card was embossed with Copper embossing powder (non-SU) and the bottom one used SU! Gold Embossing Powder. That is the only difference in the two. I like the gold one better. Which do you like?
I made these cute little box/bags to put the Day of Gratitude cards in. There are 5 cards with envelopes in each bag. Lots more could fit, however. I made the bag using one sheet of 12 x 12 card stock. I decorated it with More Mustard cut out with the Oval Accent Bigz Clear die and embossed with the Houndstooth Impressions Folder. To keep the bag closed I used the Decorative Label punch with Tangerine Tango card stock and an Antique Brad with a velcro dot. The leaves and sentiment both come from the Day of Gratitude stamp set. Sorry, the Tangerine Tango ribbon is retired. I enjoyed making this project from start to finish.
I want to thank you for buzzzing by the Hive. I really appreciate all of your kind comments.
Sorry about being missing in action. I have had a lot on my plate. I am hoping to get back to stamping on a regular basis soon.
Today I am sharing a card I made for my daughters friend. I used A Little Bit of Magic stamp set. I loved coloring this image. The set is retired but it is perfect for a 6 year old. I used the new Oval Accent Bigz Clear die to stamp my image on.
Today I am sharing two masculine cards that I made for my Husband and Father. One is an anniversary card the other is for Father's Day. Head on over to Catherine Pooler's blog for a video tutorial. I am hoping that either one of them visits my blog before I have a chance to give them their card. I just love the way these turned out. Thanks, Catherine, for such a wonderful card to CASE.
Well wouldn't you know it. Frenchie had a video tutorial on how to make those adorable little purses that I shared bigger. Now you know I had to make a few. I used the Twitterpated DSP found in the current Occasions Mini Catalog (see side bar for link), to cover the front of two of the purses. Various punches and dies were used to create the flowers. The Mixed Bunch stamp set was used on the middle purse. How do you like them? Leave a comment and let me know.
Thanks so much for buzzzing by.

Hello Hivers,
Time is running out. Sale-A-Bration is almost over. You have until March 31, 2012 to get your FREE sale-a-bration items. Click HERE for more details.
Todays project uses the beautiful Designer Series Paper called Everyday Enchantment. You get 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. 12"x12" for Free with any $50 order before tax and shipping.
I used Peach Parfait as an accent color to make the Scalloped trim around the bottom and the Top Note that holds the handles. The flower is made using the Five Petal punch and a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack (SAB item).
To make this purse I started off with a piece of card stock cut at 8.5 x 7 scored it at 1.5 on all four sides. This makes the box part of the bag. Next, I used 2 sheets of DSP cut at 6 x 10.5 to make the "walls" of the purse. The trim around the bottom was made using 2 pieces of card stock cut at 1.5 x 10.5
Thanks for buzzzing by the Hive.

Isn't this little purse just adorable? I made it using the New Petite Purse die that will be available in April from Stampin' Up!. I used the Mocha Morning DSP on this project and added a flower made from the Boho Blossom punch with a pearl for the center. I colored the pearl with a black Sharpie marker.
If you can't tell....I love our Framelits. I used the Apothecary stamp set to decorate this lovely box. The box was made using the Oval Scallop Frame die and I embossed the Marina Mist card stock with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I added some Glimmer Brads and Pleated Stain Ribbon as the final touches. This box was created for my friend, I mentioned on Monday, to give to her daughter with a little gift inside. I hope they both like the projects I have made to help celebrate the new little life.
I just had to show you all this wonderful baby shower gift that my best friend and her daughter made. They used the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die to create this mobile/chandelier to hang over the crib. It is just soooo stinkin' cute!
I am in love with the flower from the stamp set Mixed Bunch. It is the Occasions Mini Catalog. I have been playing around with this set for a few days. I will be showing you more projects made with it. Here, I cut 2 petals off the flower to make a butterfly. The Apothecary Art stamp set is becoming one of my favorites. It is so lovely. I just love the way it layers with the Labels Framelits Die.
I also used the new Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the Soft Suede card stock.
Other supplies: Lucky Limeade, Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla card stock, Everyday Enchantment DSP, Basic Pearls, Oval and Blossom punch, and various Stampin' Write markers.
This is one of my Stampin' Card Keepers. I have covered it in Mocha Morning Specialty DSP. It looks so elegant. I topped it with a flower using the Fun Flowers Bigz Die and some Soft Suede Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and a brad form the Antique Brads set. The lid on this one is very hard to get on. I should not have taken the DSP all the way up the sides. It would be best to stop the paper just below the lid.
Just a quick post. Here is another gate fold wedding card like the one I shared yesterday. This one I used all Whisper White card stock. I embossed the panels using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
I made this card for my son's 4th grade teacher. She was recently married. Dawn has a video on how to create this type of card. The layout is also from one of her cards. I can't remember the name of the Specialty DSP that I used. I sponged it with River Rock. The base and middle oval is from Shimmery White card stock. I just love those little butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die.
