Hello Hivers, A few days ago my oldest son celebrated his birthday. This is one of the treats he was given that day. It's a box that holds a cake mix pouch and a little package of icing. I CASE'd the design on the box from the Annual Catalog on page 73. The gold and silver in the Broadway Bound Specialty DSP makes everything look so elegant, this box included.
As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later. Honeybee
Hello Hivers, I am loving the Merry Cafe stamp set. It goes perfectly with the cake in a mug pouches that I have been making boxes for. This box was inspired by the Treat Topper I shared on November 7, 2017. These color are so rich. I sponged the Coffee Break DSP with Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink. I added some sequins from the Gold Mini Sequin Trim. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later. Honeybee
Hello Hivers, Here's another cake in a mug pouch box. I love that these designs could easily be made into matching cards to give as a set. You can't see it in this photo, but there is Wink of Stella on the slice of cake image. And the Lemon Lime Twist ribbon is almost lost in the background, but I think it adds just a little pop of color where it is needed. As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today. Until next time....Buzzz you later. Honeybee
Hello Hivers, I decided to change it up a bit with the cake in a mug pouches. I placed this one in one of our Clear Envelopes and sealed it at the bottom. I made the topper using some of the Coffee Break DSP and added a little color. I love the way the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape looks with this color combonation. Hello Hivers, I know I have been making a lot of these boxes to hold the cake in a mug pouches. I love them. I really LOVE the way this one turned out. I made my own background paper using the strawberry image from the Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set. This set can be found on the very last page (233) of the Annual Catalog. This is the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set. When you purchase this set, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 from the sale of each stamp set to the RMHC. I used The Little Things stamp set for the sentiment, it can be found in the Holiday Catalog. I used the Layering Ovals Framelits to feature the sentitment. I added a couple of Glitter Enamel Dots to finish off this project. Here is the template for the Cake Mix Pouch Box:

Hello Hivers,
I am sharing another box that I made to hold the cake in a mug pouch. This would make a great card, as well. I heat embossed the "Witches Brew" sentiment with White Embossing Powder. I also colored the background Designer Series Paper with Lemon Lime Twist. It only shows up on the spots that were origanally Very Vanilla. I don't have the Cat Punch, so I just hand cut the cat right from the Spooky Night DSP. I think it all worked out very well.

Give your teacher his/her favorite treat. This is what I made for the teachers on treat day. I filled the cake boxes with goodies and packaged them in cello bags with a cute tag. This was my first time making these. I used the retired Petal Cone Bigz L die to create them. I got the instructions from Penny Thomas over at penguistamper. The directions are very easy to follow. These would be great for any type of shower. I really hate that the die has retired. Twelve of these would make a complete cake.
