Painted Glass Catalog CASE

Hello Hivers,

I know it is a bit early for Christmas yet.  But when I have an idea in my head I have to get it out.  If I don't share it now, I will probably forget by the time Holiday season came around.  This is another CASE from the catalog (pg. 164 -165).  I am loving this Vellum.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Snowflake Sentiments

Hello Hivers,

Just a quick post with a cute Christmas card.

I used the Snowflake Sentiments and Star of Light stamp sets to create this card.  The DSP is from Christmas Around the World.

Color Theory Christmas

Hello Hivers,

I created this wonderful box using the same template I used last Wednesday, well....almost the same.  I did make a few changes to the parts that I cut off and kept.  You can find the altered template below.

I decorated this box using the Color Theory Designer Series Paper and Sesaonal Layers Thinlits.  I added some Metalic Sequins for a little sparkle.  The Senitment is from the Star of Light stamp set.

Colors:  Dapper Denim, Soft Sky, Whisper White
DSP:  1.75" x 1.25" (2)  4" x 1.75" (1)  4" x 1.25" (1)

Detailed Santa Shaker

Hello Hivers,

This was my first time using the Detailed Santa thinlits.  I don't know what took me so long to get to them.  I love it.  I made two shaker cards that are basically the same except for the paper used in the background.  This thinlit really stands alone, it adds so much interest to a card.  With so much going on with the front of the card, I thought it best to keep the inside very simple.

Star of Light

Hello Hivers,

Todays card is one of my favorites.  I went back and forth about my decision to buy this Bundle (#143508).  I finally decided that I just had to have it.  I love everything about this card.  I have used Night of Navy and Whisper White card stock along with some Gold Glimmer Paper.  I used a blue Sharpie marker to color a Rhinestone Jewel.  If time permits, I plan on creating lots more with this bundle of stamps and thinlits dies.

Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Wonderful Flurry

Hello Hivers,

I decided to make a full card version of a card I shared on November 25, 2016.  I really like the look of the star flurry from the Stat of Light stamp set.  The Red Glimmer Paper almost makes the flurry look like it has glimmer on it as well.  Unlike the Notecard version that I made, I left the front of this card to speak for it's self.  No added images or sentiments to get in the way.

Oops! It's Retired

Hello Hivers,

Some how the Cup of Cheer did not get marked as Retired on my shelf.  I will occasionally use a retried stamp set or accessory, however, I made these cards thinking the stamp set was still current.  Any who....They still look great.  Check out the inside of the card below.

I wanted a design that would show off both sides of the Designer Series Paper.  The Candy Cane Lane DSP and the Star of Light stamp set are both current products that are still available for purchase.

A Cheerful Season

Hello Hivers,

I was thinking of my grandmother when I made this card.  I seen various samples on Pinterest and I thought she would have loved to receive this on Christmas.  She is flying with angel wings amongst the stars.

I used the Gold Wink of Stella on this card.  I have been using the Clear so much, thought it would be a good idea to switch it up a bit.

Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Joyful Note Card Boxed Set

Hello Hivers,

I have been very busy making Christmas cards.  My goal this holiday season is to use all the stamp sets that I purchased from the 2016 Holiday Catalog.  I'm doing a great job so far.

I made two sets of 6 cards for my daughter to give to her teachers.  I used the Tin of Tags, Star of Light, and Santa's Sleigh stamp sets on these note cards.  These are made using the Crumb Cake Note Cards & Envelopes.  I love all the bling on these cards.

Until next time....Buzzz you later.

A Jolly Christmas

Hello Hivers,

I CASE'd this card from Pinterest.  I had to change a few things because I didn't have all of the same supplies.  I loved that card so much I would have made it exactly the same.  I used the Star of Light stamp set to stamp the background.  The sentiment comes from the Father Christmas stamp set.  The Gold Foil just adds that special something to this card.

A Christmas Shaker

Hello Hivers,

I can't remember if I seen the inspiration for these cards on Pinterest or on someones blog.  Either way, just wanted to mention that it is not my original design.

I love using non-traditional colors for Christmas.  The Sweet Sugarplum is perfect for this project. As you can see below, I also used Emerald Envy for another two cards.  I made a matching box for these cards and I plan on giving them away as a gift.

Until next time....Buzzz you later.
