Starry Celebration

Hello Hivers,
Today's project comes to you buy way of Stampin' Success magazine. What is that? Oh, that is a magazine published monthly by Stampin' Up! for demonstrators. We get all kinds of great tips, ideas, sneak peeks, and recognition from it.

To make this hinge card I used Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal, Ballet Blue and Whisper White card stock. The delicious looking cupcake is from the set Wagon Full of Fun. You can find that in the Occasions Mini Catalog. I used some Star punches and Star designer brad to embellish my card.
Leave a comment I don't mind.

Welcome Baby

Happy Birthday Unique....I Love You.

Hello Hivers,
Today is my sisters birthday. I just had to send her a shout out.

I made this card for a good friend of mine. She recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I used Cameo Coral, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie, and Apricot Appeal card stock. I used my Curly Label punch and a couple of square punches to mount the main image.

Do you see the faux embossing. I punched out flowers in Cameo Coral and placed them all over the card. The sentiment is from the Newly Retired set Congrats that I earned during Sale-A-Bration.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Top Note Purse

Hello Hivers,
I have been seeing these cute purses all over SCS and other blogs. I just had to make one. I think this turned out pretty good. I used 2 Top Notes and the large Scallop Circle die to create this purse. I decorated it with the Sweet Always DSP and the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlits die. I added 2 Jumbo eyelets to the flap to hold the ribbon in place for the handle. I used 5/8" Chocolate Chip ribbon with 1/4" Whisper White grosgrain ribbon down the middle. The "button" on the flap is a Filigree brad with a Circle Rhinestone brad in the center.

Thanks for buzzzing by my hive today. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Until next time.....

Upsy Daisy Sympathy

Hello Hivers,
I am back. I had a great week with my family. I had lots of time to work on projects for the up coming holiday....more on that next week. I don't want anyone to see what they will be getting Sunday.

On to today's project. My DH asked me to make another sympathy card for a coworker. I wanted to use the Upsy Daisy stamp set because I had never used it. I don't know how I came up with the design for this card but I love it. I also used the retired background stamp; Weathered.
I designed the inside to match the card front. I used a sentiment from the Brighter Tomorrow set which is also retired.

Until next time.....
