Hello Hivers,
Today's technique is called Faux Silk. I loved creating this card. It turned out just as I planned. I mean just as fellow stamper, Tamie Ackerson planned. Of course, this is a CASE. The only major change was adding the faux silk technique to my card.

I used the Nature Walk stamp set to create this beauty. The card stock is Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla. I actually used two other techniques on this card: Direct to Paper (DTP) and Marker to Stamp. I have separate cards to share with those techniques.
Well, I want to thank you for buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later,

Hello Hivers,
When I stumbled across this technique, I was shocked that I had never tried it before. Yes, I have used DTP on the edges of my cards, but never to create a background like this. If you look close, you can see the "wiggle" movements I made while dragging the ink pad across the paper. I used the 2012-2014 In Colors on these cards. I had fun creating them. I usually on make two of each card. I made three of these and a fourth using the same technique.
Enjoy you day.
Until next time....Buzzz you later,
Honeybee
