Noble Free As A Bird Card

Hello Hivers, 

I am trying so hard to create and share with you all.  I am sorry I haven't posted in a while.  The card I am sharing today uses the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets, Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, In Color DSP stack, Bird Ballad DSP, and the Free As A Bird stamp set.  I really love the way this card turned out.  It took me all of 4 days to make this card.  Ugh!  It's going to get better...It has to...the new catalog is coming soon!  I get to pre-order some new products tomorrow.  Hopefully that will kick my creative Mojo into gear.

August 2019 SBTD Blog Hop - Boo To You Birthday Card with Video

Hello Hivers, 

Welcome to another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop.  This month is our 2nd Blog Hop Anniversary, that means the theme is stampers choice.  My theme for this month is for the Children.  

We have some wonderful new products coming soon in the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  I am sharing a few sneak peeks today.  I have two cards for you today, 2 versions of the same card.  

On the first card I used four new products.  We have the Boo to You stamp set, Assorted Googly Eyes, Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder, and the Wrapped In Plaid 6" x 6" Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Boo To You stamp set is super cute.  I knew right away I was going to be getting it.

Blessed Bird Ballad

Hello Hivers, 

I am in love with this card.  I think it is because I had to fussy cut all the images from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  It's a simple card but a lot of work went into making it.  It is meant to be a thank you card.  I don't know if you can see it, but I used Wink of Stella on all the images.  It is super sparkly in person.

Free As A Bird - Thank You

Hello Hivers, 

A good friend asked if I could make her a couple of thank you cards and this is one of them.  I really enjoyed coloring the image on this card.  I wish you could see all the sparkly joy going on with the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.  It is all around the frame and on the birds.  I need to use this stamp set a bit more.  I really like it.  Oh, and can you see the Subtle embossing folder on the birds? It just adds a touch of elegance to this gorgeous card.

You Always Deliver - Thank You Card w/Video

Today I am sharing with you the cards I made for my son.  He graduated from High School back in May.  He has had an influx of gifts and it is time to send out the Thank You cards. I have listed all of the measurements for the card below.

Soft Suede Base - 4.25″ x 11″ score at 5.5″ and 6.5″
Old Olive - 3″ x 3.25″
Whisper White - 2.75″ x 3″ (main image)
Old Olive - 4″ x 4.25″
DSP - 3.75″ x 4″
Whisper White - 3.75″ x 4″ (inside layer)
DSP - 3/4″ x 4″

DSP - 3/4" x 3.75" (inside layer)

I also have a video showing how I put everything together.  I want to apologize for being out of frame in parts of the video. I have a new set up in the Hive for filming and I didn't test out the parameters.  I will work on that for the next video. Enjoy!

P.S.  I decided to color the white stripe on the pants with the Light Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends.
