SBTD September 2019 Blog Hop - Birds of a Feather

Hello Hivers, 

Welcome to another Stampers By The Dozen Blog Hop.  This month our theme is Halloween.  We are using our favorite Halloween products from the New Holiday Catalog.  I have chosen to use the Birds of a Feather stamp set to make my project. 

Halloween Basket

I used the 2" Circle Punch to make the front and back of the basket.  I cut off about 1/4" of the circle so that it would sit flush with the box.  I cut a piece of cardstock at 4" x 5/8" to make the handle for my basket.  The basket can hold 2 Hershey's Nuggets.  I'm sure it could hold a few other types of small candies.

 This stamp set as a little bird for all the upcoming holidays.

Baskets

Hello Hivers,

Here are a couple of baskets I made around Easter time.  They are both small in size and would work great for babies 1st Easter or to put a small baby shower gift in.  I can't remember where I found the instructions for these two beauties.  I do know that they were not found on the same website/blog.

Sunshine Bag

Hello Hivers,

This bag was designed using a tutorial I found on Pinterest.  I added a little pocket on the outside that can hold a gift card or a small note card.  I wanted to do something different with the closure, and it took me a long time to decide on using these brads.  And wouldn't you know it, I'm still not satisfied in the way it turned out.  Sometimes things look different in my head.

Scallop Square Basket

Hello Hivers,

Today I wanted to share this cute little basket that I made using the Clear Scallop Square die.  A video tutorial can be found HERE.  Thanks, Dawn, for the instructions.
I had some scrap paper left over from the last two projects that I shared.  I used them to make this Spring Time basket.

Flower Basket

Hello Hivers,

How cute is this basket?! I watched a video over on Brenda's blog that shows how to make these quick and simple baskets. It uses 7 flowers stamped with the Mixed Bunch set then punched using the Blossom Punch and for the handle I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch. I also used some SAB ribbon to decorate the handle.
