Hello Hivers,
This is a Thanksgiving Card. My husband told me that it looks like a Halloween card. I guess I should have made a fall day instead of a fall night scene. I used the Harvest Home stamp set with Lovely as a Tree stamp set in the background. Lots of SU colors and supplies. Yesterday I said that it was my first time trying the brayered background. Well, actually this card was the first. I made them both on the same day. I learned a few things with this card. Things like, be very careful with the VersaMarker so as to not have white spots where you don't want any. I got this idea and technique from Michelle Zindorf. I love her work. This is just beautiful! I didn't really think of Halloween, but just Fall in general. Don't listen to your hubby...I think it's a perfect card for Thanksgiving!
