Ornate Garden Mini Milk Cartons with Video

Hello Hivers,

I made these cute Mini Milk Cartons about 2.5 months ago.  I got the tutorial from the Paper Pixie.  I made these as wedding favors for my nephew.  Sunflowers was their theme.  We were supposed to go on a cruise for the reception, but of course that got cancelled.  I am just getting around to posting these.  I've waited so long that the sentiment I used is no longer available.  It is from the Thoughtful Blooms Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  But, no worries, you can substitute it for the "Thank You" in the Honey Bee stamp set.  But you only have a few more days to get that stamp set as well.  It is on the retirement list.

Here is a closer look at the Mini Milk Carton using the Honey Bee stamp set.

Enjoy the video tutorial.

MEASUREMENTS

Base:
Cut cardstock: 3-11/16″ x 3-11/16″  Score on all 4 sides at 1.25"

Lid:
DSP:  2″ x 5-3/8″
Score on the 2″ side at 3/8″ and 1-1/8″

Rotate clockwise and score on the 5-3/8″ side at 1.25″, 2.5″, 3.75″, and 5″

Finally score at 1-7/8″ and 4-3/8″, but only down to the 1st horizontal score line (optional)

May 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternate #2 with Video

Hello Hivers,

This is my second alternate idea using the May 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  This card is similar to one designed for the kit.  I added some Pool Party cardstock for the card base and cut part of the front from the kit card.  I also....well, you will see everything in the video.

ENJOY!

Painted Harvest Thank You with Video

Hello Hivers,

This card is very much the same card I shared on Tuesday.  I just changed up the stamp set I used for the sentiment.  I am using the Painted Harvest stamp set which is on the retirement list.  It won't be around for much longer.  This is a great year round stamp set.  Be sure to get yours before it is too late.

I made this thank you card for the family that "adopted" my son.  I can't wait to see his face when he receives his gifts.  I know he will appreciate it greatly.  The kindness of some people is just so great.

Watch has I fumble my way through this video tutorial.

Dressed To Impress Lip Balm Holder with Template

Hello Hivers,

This is another item going in the gift basket for my "adopted" graduating senior I spoke about on Tuesday.  She likes Carmex lip balm, but of course I couldn't give it to her in the store bought packaging.  So I created this lovely box to replace it.

Here is the template:

DSP:  2.75" x 1-3/8"
Basic Black: 2.75" x 2.25"
Gold Foil: 2.75" x 1/8"
Embossed Real Red:  2-5/8" x 0.50"

The box can be opened from either end.

Here is a look at the box and the contents.

Seriously The Best Graduation Card

Hello Hivers,

Just buzzzing in with a cute congratulations card.  I feel so bad for all the graduating seniors this year (my son included).  My community is participating in Adopt A Senior 2020.  This is where families "adopt" a graduating senior (from my son's high school) and purchase them a few of their favorite things, something they would need for college, or anything else you wish to gift them.  A lot of high schools are doing this with their communities.  I think it is such a great idea to show these young people that we acknowledge their accomplishment of completing high school.

This is the card I am including in my gift basket for the student my family and I  "adopted".  I chose to use Real Red for this card because that is her favorite color.

I used two outgoing stamp sets, Seriously the Best and Witty-Cisms, for the sentiments and image.  These stamps sets are on the retirement list, if you want them I suggest you purchase them now.  The Specialty Designer Series Paper is Ornate Garden colored with Real Red Classic Ink.  I also used the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder for some texture in the background.  These items will be available in the New Annual Catalog on June 3, 2020.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Best Dressed Mother's Day

Hello Hivers,

Here are some of the cards I made for Mother's Day.  I used the Best Dressed 6" x 6" DSP for the focal point.  The sentiments come from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set.

When I first seen this stack of DSP I knew I wanted to use it to maker Mother's Day cards.  I really love all the colors in this paper. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  Celebrate all the mothers in your life.  We deserve it.  :)

Tropical Roar Thank You Cards

Hello Hivers,

I've been thinking about the open air...vacation...cruises...tropical islands..etc.  My family and I have a trip planned for next summer and I usually make thank you cards for the people that attend to us where ever we are.

I made a couple of small cards, using the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper as the main focus.  The stamped images come from the Tropical Chic stamp set.  These colors really make me miss traveling.  I can't wait for things to get back to normal.

I die cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and popped it up over a piece of cardstock punched out using the Label Me Fancy Punch.  I finished the cards off with some bling from the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots and the Nobel Peacock Rhinestones.

Card Size:  4.5" x 5"  Scored at 2.5"
Layers:  2.25" x 4.25" and 2" x 4"

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
Until next time....Buzzz you later.

Noble Free As A Bird Card

Hello Hivers,

I am trying so hard to create and share with you all.  I am sorry I haven't posted in a while.  The card I am sharing today uses the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets, Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, In Color DSP stack, Bird Ballad DSP, and the Free As A Bird stamp set.  I really love the way this card turned out.  It took me all of 4 days to make this card.  Ugh!  It's going to get better...It has to...the new catalog is coming soon!  I get to pre-order some new products tomorrow.  Hopefully that will kick my creative Mojo into gear.

Stay Safe.

As always, thanks for Buzzzing by the Hive today.
