Wedding Wings

Hello Hivers,

This cute little candy holder would make a great wedding favor.  It holds a Hershey Nugget inside.  I think I seen this idea at Simply Simple Stamping.  This project was definitely simple.  From the butterfly closure to the tiny flowers on the front...everything about it is just adorable.

Short Grad Wallet

Hello Hivers,

This is one of the graduation money holders I made a while back.  I shared a longer version on August 26, 2015.  I used the same Bohemian DSP and B.Y.O.P. stamp set.  The accordion style sides give this wallet plenty of room to hold lots of money or whatever you can think to put inside.

Monogramed Favor

Hello Hivers,

This is a monogramed wedding favor.  I made it just as a sample for my mothers friend.  I love the pop of Cherry Cobbler against the neutral Gray.  There are a variety of items that could be tucked away inside.  This one was holding a chocolate square.

A Unique Birthday Closure

Hello Hivers,

Here is a simple Fun Fold birthday card.  It is simple but I think it has a WOW factor.

I found the instructions on Pinterest.

The fun and bright designs of the Cherry on Top DSP stack just add that extra something to this project.

Rudolph The Paper Pumpkin Reindeer

Hello Hivers,

I had two extra bags left over from the September 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I decided to use them for Christmas.  I switched up the contents of the bag just a bit:  swapped pumpkin spiced marshmallows for peppermints.  (See this POST for bag contents.)  I took out the paper straw and tied a nice Christmasy ribbon around the bag.  I added some eyes and, of course, the famous Red Nose.  And there you have it!  Rudolph the Paper Pumpkin Reindeer.

Supplies:

1", 3/4" and 1/2" Circle Punch
Whisper White card stock, Basic Black card stock, and Red Glimmer Paper
White Gel Pen
Riding Hood Red Grosgrain Striped Ribbon (retired)

For Baby

Hello Hivers,

These are cards I made for my husband's cousin.  Of course, I will have to choose one to give her.  She is having a baby girl very soon.  When I say that I CASE'd a card, this is usually what I mean.  I got inspiration from a card I found on Pinterest by Jennifer Frost.  Not everything is the same but you can see how her card inspired mine.

Thanks for buzzzing by the Hive.  Enjoy your day.

The Big Day

Hello Hivers,

Here are a couple of cards I made a while back.  I used the Big Day stamp set and Back to Black DSP. Both of those items are retired now.  I enjoyed coloring all the little hexagons on the DSP.  I heat embossed the secondary sentiment using White Embossing Powder.

A Musical Christmas

Hello Hivers,

I fell in love with the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper the moment I seen it in the Holiday Catalog.  I knew that I could and would create wonderful things with it.  These two cards just have slight differences between them.  I love them both.  I seen the layout for this card over on Pootles blog.

Christmas Wishes

Hello Hivers,

I told you that you can make a variety of cards using the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper.  Here I used the cut outs of Santa going down the chimney.  I used a red sharpie marker to color the Rhinestone Jewels and Old Olive classic ink to sponge around the sentiment. The sentiment was cut out using the 4th Lots of Labels Framelits.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the background was embossed using the Decorative Dots embossing folder.

Supplies:

Cozy Christmas stamp set
Home for Christmas DSP

Pool Party card stock:  8.5" x 5.5" scored at 4.25"
DSP:  4" x 2.25" and 2.5" x .5"
Very Vanilla card stock:  5.25" x 4" and 3' x 2.25" (sentiment)
Basic Rhinestone Jewels
Lots of Labels Framelits
Decorative Dots Embossing Folder
Stmapin' Write Markers:  Real Red and Old Olive

Dressy Chapstick

Hello Hivers,

Here is a project I made using a Retired Framelit set.  I watched a video tutorial over at frenchiestamps.com.  I can't remember who I gave this to.  I love how the DSP matches the Stampin' Up! lip balm.  Even though more than half the items in my collection are retired, I will still continue to use them.  Some things are just that Awesome.

Today I am sharing a Christmas card made using the Brick Wall embossing folder.  I love the way it turned out.  I inked up the embossing folder with Tip Top Taupe classic ink to get the grout lines.  I used a red sharpie marker to color the Rhinestone Jewels then I sponged all the pieces using the Tip Top Taupe classic ink, as well.

My Paper Pumpkin September 2015

Hello Hivers,

So, as I stated previously, I didn't order the September 2015 Paper Pumpkin.  However, I did order 4 of the Refill Kits to make up some more of these cute bags to be used at Thanksgiving.  I must say I noticed some very big differences with the bags I used from the corner store and Stampin' Up! bags.
The SU! bags are smaller, but they are so much thicker, thereby, sturdier.  Having everything already cut and ready to go made this project super easy and quick to put together.
Because I only purchased the refill kit, I wasn't able to get the stamp set or ink spot.  So, on my tags I used the Trust God stamp set with Tangerine Tango classic ink.

Pretty in Pink

Hello Hivers,

Okay...I forgot this project was part of the teacher appreciation gifts from last year.  The tag has the teachers initial on it. I used two different letter "B's", one on each side of the tag.

Just about all of the items used are now retired.  But the purse is still pretty.  It can easily be recreated with current products.

A Sticky Thanks

Hello Hivers,

Here is the last teacher appreciation gift that I made for my daughters teacher last year.  It is a sticky note holder.  I love this stamp set, although it is retired.  It is called Friendship Preserves.  I believe that I seen the the tutorial for this note holder over at dawnsstampingthoughts.net.

I really like the color combination that I used, here.  All the bling really makes this project stand out.  I will continue to share my projects.  I would like to hear from you.  What type of projects do you like for me to share?

My Paper Pumpkin May 2015

Hello Hivers,

I am finally getting around to sharing the photos of my Paper Pumpkin kit from May.  My Paper Pumpkin is a surprise in a box that will be delivered to your door each month for only $19.95 a month.  Each month has a different theme.  As you can see the theme for May was birthdays.  The kit made six cards and four gift bags.  They even provide the envelopes. You can either follow the directions that come with your kit or venture out a bit, like I did, and change things up.  It's your choice.
