Starburst Sayings

Hello Hivers,

Here is another teacher appreciation gift.  Just a little something.  I used a tutorial from Dawn G. over at Dawns Stamping Thoughts.  She has a ton of tutorials.  The sentiment on this box is from Starburst Sayings, a retired stamp set.  I used a couple of Circle and Circle Scallop punches to decorate.

DIY Gift Bag

Hello Hivers,

I decided to make a bag using a technique that I have  been seeing everywhere.  I first seen this technique used with gift wrapping paper during the Christmas holiday.
Technically there is no measuring when making this bag.  I just used a scrap piece of DSP and made a couple of folds.  Here is a link to the first tutorial I seen using this method.

Supplies:  Bohemian DSP, Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss, Delightful Dijon, and Island Indigo card stock,  Banners Framelits, Floral Frames Collection Framelits, Happy Birthday, Everyone Hostess Only stamp set, and some Retired brads.

Long Grad Wallet

Hello Hivers,

This cute wallet was made for my husband's cousin that graduated from High School this past June.  I watched a video tutorial online and I am sure I pinned it on Pinterest.  Finding that video is another story.

I used the Bohemian DSP to decorate the wallet along with the stamp set, B.Y.O.P.

Tea Time

Hello Hivers,

I finally got around to making one of these cute little boxes that holds tea bags and dispenses them from the bottom.  I just love it.  I can't remember where I found the tutorial to make the box, but I am sure it is on Pinterest somewhere.  I mixed a little new with the old on this project.
Then I remembered that Brenda Quintana had a tutorial for a tea cup holding Hershey Kisses.  I just had to pair the two together.

This was a gift for one of my mother's friends.  She loves all things tea and cups.  LOL

I used the Cherry On Top DSP Stack to decorate both items.  I also used Tea Shoppe and See Ya Later stamp sets.  The flowers came form Petite Petals.

Box in a Bohemian Bag

Hello Hivers,

I created this cute box in a bag to hold Bath & Body Works shower gel.  This would make a great gift presentation for any occasion.  I love the rich colors in the Bohemian Designer Series Paper.  I added a little border at the bottom of the bag using the Bohemian Borders stamp set.  The main image can be found in the Feel Goods stamp set.  The Decorative Label punch was just what I needed to add some stability for the closure of this bag.

To make the box I started with a 3.5" x 4.75" piece of card stock and scored all four sides at .75".
The DSP was cut at 12" x 7.25" and the top and bottom solid card stock was cut at 11" x .75".

Moon Lake Birthday

Hello Hivers,

I want to apologize for my absence.  I lost my creative MOJO for a while there.  I have had many projects completed and ready to post, I was just in some kind of creative funk and I didn't even feel like sharing.  Again, I apologize.  I will be sharing my older projects from now until the end of the year at a rate of one per week.  I will do my best to post projects using all my new goodies from the Annual Catalog and the NEW Mini Holiday Catalog that will be available to order from on September 1, 2015.

Today I am sharing a card I created for my mother's husband.  I used the Moon Lake and Wetlands stamp sets.  I used my favorite technique, which is sponging a background.  This card is nice and simple.
