Acorns

Hello Hivers,

Presenting the 3rd CASED card.  This one I seen over on Maria's blog.  I changed a few things, but the basic design is hers.  I had lots of fun creating my own DSP for this card.  I used the Medallion stamp in the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  You can't see it very well, but there is a pierced half circle on the Early Espresso square.  This card was quick and easy.

More Mustard Base 8.5 x 5.5
Very Vanilla 2.5" & 3/4 Circle punch; 4.25 x 1.5
Early Espresso  2.75 x 2.75; 1.75 x 4.25; 1" Circle punch
Inks:  More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, & Chocolate Chip
About 5" of ribbon

Dotted Gratitude

Hello Hivers,

This is the 2nd design of the cards my hubby asked for.  It is using the same stamp set as the card from Monday, Day of Gratitude. (I forgot to mention that Monday)  My favorite part of this card is the Soft Suede layer.  I love the texture that it gives to the card.  This, too, is CASED.  I got this design from Mindy over at Badabing Crafting.

Cajun Craze Base 11 x 4.25; 3.25 x 2
Soft Suede 4 x 5.25
Pumpkin Pie 3" Circle die (Emboss with Dots)
Comfort Cafe DSP 5 x 1.75
Very Vanilla 3 x 1.75
About 9" of ribbon
Inks: Crumb Cake, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, & Pumpkin Pie

Four Square Gratitude

Hello Hivers,

My husband asked me to come up with 5 designs for Fall/Thanksgiving cards to make with some ladies at a Retirement Home.  Well, I am not so good with "coming up" with my own designs.  Sooo....Today I am sharing one of the cards that I CASED from Karen over at Two Friends Stamping.  I love the way this card uses the fall colors.

Early Espresso Base 8.5 x 5.5
Cajun Craze 3.5 x 3.75; 2.75 x 2.75; 2-1/8 x 1-3/8
Very Vanilla 2 x 1-5/16; 1.25 Square Punch
International Bazaar DSP 3.25 x 3.5
About 8" of ribbon
Inks: Old Olive,  Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, & Early Espresso

Flat Back Candy Box

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing a Halloween project.  I found the instructions on Split Coast Stampers. The project only uses one sheet of card stock cut at 7" x 9".  Very cute and simple.  I decorated my box using the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP and the Googly Ghouls stamp set.  The sentiment came from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  This box can be used for all types of occasions.  I am thinking Valentines Day for the children.  Card at the top candy in the box.

Big Top Box

Hello Hivers,

I made two boxes to store all the cards I made using the Big Top product suite.  I am thinking to give this as a teachers gift.  I am not sure yet.  The main image was cut out using the Window Frames Collection Framelits.  I added doodle dots with the Silver Stampin' Dazzle marker.  The images are used to keep the boxes closed with a velcro dot.  I'm thinking about adding a handle to the boxes to make them look like briefcases.  What do you think?

Lion's Best

Hello Hivers,

This is the last card that I made using the Big Top Birthday DSP and Under the Big Top stamp set.  I love the sentiment on this card.  The DSP looks yummy and fun all at the same time.  I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits to cut out the image and added detail with the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack.

Birthday Banner

Hello Hivers,

I think this is my favorite card out of all the cards I have made using the Big Top product suite.  I love the DSP paired up with the Petite Pennants Builder punch.  The Chevron Impressions Folder really adds life to this card.  The colors in this suite allow for your projects to be girl and boy friendly.  Now who to give it to?

Thanks for buzzzing by the Hive.

Princess Butterflies

Hello Hivers,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PRINCESS JASMINE!

Today my one and only daughter is celebrating her 7th birthday.  We are so blessed to have her in our lives.  She had a rough start to life (born at 25 weeks), but is the healthiest child we have.  She is 100% girl.  Pink is her favorite color (despite me trying to gear her towards purple or any color other than pink).  She loves to shop for clothes and shoes and enjoys dressing up.  Her love for the Lord is tremendous.

Her card was made using Creative Elements and Papillon Potpourri stamp sets.  I added a little bling to every butterfly that was punched out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.  After I took the photos of the card I decided to add more dazzle and spritz the entire card with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.

Buzzz by on Friday for more Big Top shares.

Elephants

Hello Hivers,

Here is another card using the retired Big Top product suite.  I made to of each card with a little something different with each one.  This card is simple but I like it.  Those that know me can figure out why I like it.  I am in love with elephants.  This one is just so cute on that little ball.
Stay tuned for more from this product suite.

Retired Clowns

Hello Hivers,

Today I am sharing cards that I made with some of my retired supplies.  The stamp set is called Under the Big Top and the DSP is Big Top Birthday.  I am not sure who will be getting these cards but I really enjoyed making them.  I love all the fun, bright colors.  These cards make me smile.

1st Day of School

Hello Hivers,
Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White and Basic Black card stock, ribbon and ink.  Purple Glimmer Brad.

This project was very easy to create.  I used the video tutorial given by Connie Ann Stewart over at Simply Simple Stamping.  I made two of them for my children to give to their teachers on the first day of school.  I stamped each sheet of paper with the wolf from Nature Silhouettes stamp set (retired).  I used MDS to make the name plate.  These are super cute gifts to give to anyone.

Yep, I Cased It!

Hello Hivers,

I love this card.  When I seen it, I knew I wanted to case it.  In my excitement, I forgot to write down the original creator of this beauty.  I used the Blooming with Kindness stamp set and Comfort Cafe DSP.  My husband needed a thank you card for someone on his job.  I hope she enjoys this card.
I sure enjoyed making it.
