Kindergarten Christmas

Hello Hivers,

This is the tree I helped my daughter create for her kindergarten bulletin board. We had such a fun time decorating it. We used the Stocking Builder, Snowflake and Ornament Punches. For the garland we punched strips of Real Red using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The tree skirt used the Lace Ribbon Border Punch with the Shimmery White card stock. After adding all the "lights" we spritzed the entire tree with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol.

Sending a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish to my Dear Husband.

Untraditional Christmas

Hello Hivers,

Here is the final card I mailed out for Christmas this year. I just love these colors together. The Real Red, of course, is a traditional Christmas color, but the Tempting Turquoise is not. This is the same layout as the card I shared on the 23rd of this month. Here I used Early Espresso Quilted Satin Ribbon and the Big Top Birthday DSP.

This is also one of the designs I used this year for my cards. I cased it from someone, but I can't remember who. I used Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake card stock to recreate this card. The Mini Jingle Bells are tied to the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine and Quilted Satin Ribbon.

Thanks for buzzzing by.

Hand Penned Christmas

Hello Hivers,

This is one of the designs I used this year for my Christmas cards. I got the layout from Mickey Roberts. I just love the button/ribbon combination in the middle of the card. I tried to make most of my cards with non traditional colors. I didn't want to stray to far though. I used Wild Wasabi for my base (4.25 x 5.50). I think it looks great. I hope everyone that received one enjoys it.

Supplies: Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink, Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Buttons, Cherry Cobbler Quilted Satin Ribbon, Mini Jingle Bells, Hand Penned stamp set, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Eyelet Border Punch, Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Very Vanilla(3.75 x 2.50), Early Espresso(4 x 2-5/8, and Marina Mist(4x5) card stock, and Paisley Petals DSP(4 x 1.50).

Ornaments

Hello Hivers,

I made this ornament to put on a gift. It served as the bow and was adhered using temporary adhesive so that it could be taken off the package and hung on a tree. The Brilliant Blue card stock is retired but looks so nice. I punched out a scallop circle in Real Red and a snowflake in the Silver Glimmer paper. I added the Mini Jingle Bells using Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine and a white button. The ornament will hang from Silver Elastic Cord.

Whoooooo Lives in a Pineapple.....

Hello Hivers,

My youngest son and I created this card for one of his classmates. He is in love with the Sponge that lives in a Pineapple. I got inspiration for this card from several places. I just made it my own. Of course, my son had to help me (a lot) with the specifics :-). I couldn't even begin to tell you what I used to create this punch art character. It was mostly trial and error. Mostly error on my part. LOL I do remember that I used the Butterfly punch for the tongue.

Hello Hivers,
This Valentine goodie was inspired by another stamper. I can't find the original designer. Just know that I didn't come up with this one on my own.
My favorite part of this project is...No, not the candy....it is the Scalloped heart of Hearts Embosslits Die. I love the look and feel of it. I also used the Scalloped Square Bigz Clear Die.

A CASED Birthday

Hello Hivers,
I am really starting to fall in love with my Owl Punch. This little guy is so versatile. He can be dressed up for whatever occasion you need. I have told you all before that I am not that creative but I can copy just about anything. Well, this card is no exception. The original can be found on Maria Cameron's blog. Of course, I had to change the name on the card. The inside was done using MDS. I used the font called "handwriting" to look like I hand wrote the note inside.

Baby Shower

Hello Hivers,
I made these three projects for a friends baby shower. She wanted a box to put her thank you cards and gifts in. I made the lid for the box using the Scallop Circle and Clear Circle dies. The box itself is made from Melon Mambo card stock cut at 7.75 x 6.25". The thank you notes are 3 x 5.25 scored at 3". I used the two Tag Punches and attached a breast cancer awareness pin to it. She is also adding some chocolates to the box.

Family Tree

Hello Hivers,
Here is another project using the Peekaboo Frames Die. I helped my 10 year old son make this Family Tree for a school project. The Top Note Die cuts hold Fun Facts about our family. My son wanted it to look like very old documents. We had to rough the paper up a bit. The letters and leaves were punched out using SU! punches and dies as well. This was a fun project to work on with my son and husband (he drew the tree). My son had extra fun using all my SU! goodies. As always....thanks for buzzzing by.

Today I am sharing cards I made for my children's teachers. I copied a sample shown by Lynn Pratt. You can view her original sample here. These cards are so cute. Thanks Lynn.
