Calming Sympathy

Hello Hivers,
I had to make another Sympathy card for one of my Husbands co-workers. I used the Urban Garden DSP and Kiwi Kiss Corduroy brads and button. The card stock colors are Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy, and Very Vanilla. The stamp set I used, Friends 24-7, is very versatile. I love the calmness of the images. I punched out the sentiment with the 1" circle punch and layered on a 1-1/4 circle. It is popped up using dimensionals. The sentiment on the inside is from the stamp set Thoughts & Prayers.
Let me know what you think.

Illuminated Thanks

Hello Hivers,
I finally got to play with one of my new stamp sets. This set has been around for awhile but I just recently purchased it. I made a Thank You gift card holder. I got the idea from, who else but Dawn. You can check out her card HERE.
I used the "soon to be no more" In Colors. I love the way the Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point look together. The stamp set I used is Illuminations. This set is so elegant. I love it.

Not Quite Right

Hello Hivers,
This card was meant to be a tutorial. I don't like the way it looks. I was trying to make lightning in the night sky. I love everything about this card except the lightning. I made a promise to myself that I would post my mistakes. Maybe I will try again.

Hello Hivers,

I made another of these scallop dress cards. I really like the way they turn out. They are a little addictive. LOL I used Bella Rose DSP and Chocolate Chip card stock and ribbon. The Rhinestone brad is pink. These cards make you want to put on your party dress and dance the night away!

5 Petal Plant

Hello Hivers,

I just had to make another of these cute potted plant cards. This time I used the 5 Petal Punch to create the flowers. I used the Trio Flower punch for the center. Just to make this pot different from the last one I did I used the Eyelet Boarder punch.

Enjoy.

6x6 Technique Card

Hello Hivers,
Wow! I had so much fun making this technique card. This was my first time ever doing this technique. Some call it Reflections and others call it mirror image. I prefer Reflections. This cute little deer is from the Forest
Friends stamp set found in the Occasions Mini catalog. I found the instructions for this technique over on SCS. If you try this technique, link a picture of your project in my comments.

Great Grad

Hello Hivers,
I made this card for my cousin. She graduated from the University of Central Florida on May 8th. We are all so very proud of her. Way to go Morgan!

I used Basic Black, Brushed Gold, and Whisper White card stock for this project. I used the Scallop Square Punch to highlight the "a" with the cap.

Other supplies: Gold Encore ink, Zig painty pen, black grosgrain ribbon, gold cord, 2 layering square punches.

Happy Belated Birthday

Hello Hivers,
I made this cute card for my sister. Her birthday was about a week ago. I don't remember where I got the instructions for this dress but I love it. I used the Big Shot's large Scallop Circle die. The purse was made using 1-1/4 square punch and circle punch. I added red Rhinestone brads for a little bling. The sentiment is from Humor in High Heels. Oh, I just love this card. There are so many possibilities with this dress template.

Fancy Water Bottle

Hello Hivers,
I made these water bottle tags for Teacher Appreciation week at my children's school. I love the way they turned out. This was the first time I made them. You have to excuse the picture...I did not have any water bottles or the single lemonade packs that would go in the front pouch. All I had on hand was Rice Wine Vinegar and Starburst candy. I used Tango Tangerine, YoYo Yellow and Riding Hood Red card stock.

Potted Sunflowers

Hello Hivers,
I have been seeing these cute little flower pot cards all over Splitcoast Stampers website. I just had to make one. They are so adorable. I used the circle scallop punch for my flowers and the scallop edge punch for the edge of the flower pot. I think I did a pretty good job. All the card stock is from the Earth Elements color family.

Happy Belated Mother's Day

Hello Hivers,
Here are a few of the cards I made for Mother's Day. I made several in different colors. I wanted to be sure everyone got their cards before posting them. I used silver embossing powder on the sentiment and brushed silver card stock for the flower. I used the Stampin' Up! Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die to make the embossed flowers with a little glitter.
