Nature Swaps

Hello Hivers,
Today's swaps are mostly focused on nature. I love images of trees and flowers. They can be used in so many ways. Both these cards would make excellent masculine cards. The color combos are great.

Hokey Pokey

Hello Hivers,
This card is nice and simple. I like how each animal was spotlighted. What I like most about this card is the sentiment. I love it. It makes you think and say "what if?".
I grouped these cards together because I felt they were simple yet cute cards. Very well done ladies. Sometimes less is more.

Punch Art Swap

Hello Hivers,
This is one of the many cards I received at Regionals. I like this card because it is basically made of punches. The koala is just so cute! I had to put this card in the spotlight. Below you can view a group of cards.

Most of the projects I received were not labeled. I only photographed the cards I did not create them. (this is true for all posts related to Regionals unless otherwise noted)

Card Front Only Swap

Hello Hivers,
Wow! Aren't you just loving this stamp set? I promise this is the last one from me......well, for now anyway.
For this project I used Summer Sun, Whisper White and Basic Black card stock. I used all the same color markers on the bees as on both the other projects. The background of this card front was made using the same technique as seen on the ATC from yesterday. Just love that DD Glitter. I used some Black Gingham ribbon to make the stand for the hive. I used the Spiral and 1-1/4 Square punches to make the movie strip. I sponged Summer Sun around the edges of each square and added doodle dots. Only the wings of the "Honeybees" have DD Glitter. Oooo ....... tomorrow I have something totally different for you to enjoy. Soooo...

Just Buzzin' By -- ATC

Hello Hivers,
Isn't this just the cutest stamp set?! I can't get enough of it. This is an Artist Trading Card (ATC). I made the image of the "Honeybee" and the sentiment in the same manner as the project from yesterday. I used the 1-1/4 and 1-3/8 Circle punch to layer the image of the bee. I stamped the flowers with VersaMark Ink on Summer Sun card stock and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder and DD Glitter. I went around the flower with my white Gel Pen. I added a Basic Black Brad for a little something more. Finally I layered everything on Basic Black card stock. I hope you all like this project as much as I do. Thanks for visiting my hive. Have a "honey of a day".

Matchbook Notepad/Calendar

Hello Hivers,
This is the first item I made to take to Regionals. This is my new favorite stamp set: Just Buzzin' By. I sponged Summer Sun Classic Ink all over the white matchbook. I wanted to have a little white showing through the yellow. I took some Black Grosgrain ribbon and attached it (with a Mini Glue Dot) to the top to cover the staple. I stamped the "Honeybee" image all over Whisper White card stock with Black StazOn. I colored it using Close to Cocoa, YoYo Yellow, and Basic Black Stampin' Write Markers. I covered the entire sheet with VersaMark Ink and poured a mixture of Clear Embossing Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over it. After I heat embossed the image I punched each out with the Small Oval punch. I layered the image on Basic Black card stock punched out with the Designer Label punch. I added a black brad and popped it up with a dimensional. On the back is a picture of the honeypot. Mmmmmm...honey. LoL..... Thanks for buzzzing by.

Friendship

Hivers,
Today I will be at Regionals all day. Hooray! I am hoping to get some great swaps to share with you all. I worked so hard on the swaps I made. I hope everyone loves them.

Any who, on to todays project. This is a card I made for a good friend of mine. I used the Sping Song stamp set. I embossed the image with a combo of clear embossing powder and Dazzling Diamond Glitter after coloring the image with my Stampin' Write Markers. I layered the image with some Rainbow Sherbet DSP. The sentiment was punched out using the Key Tag punch. I added some Apricot Appeal Grosgrain Ribbon and a couple of brads.

Holiday Cards

Hello Hivers,
Today I am sharing the cards I gave out this Christmas. I also included a gift card holder made from an envelope and a birthday card for my Stepmother (her birthday is on Christmas). I seen the design for my Christmas cards on Split Coast Stampers. I don't remember who made though. Thanks for such a pretty card, who ever you are. I used the Ski Slope DSP along with the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die and some ribbon. All those items can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I also used the Round Tab Punch. For the birthday card I added a Rhinestone Brad, Flower Fusion, and the sentiment punched out with the Square Scallop Punch. For the gift card holder I used the Season of Joy stamp set and some Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon.

Holiday Gift Boxes

Hello Hivers,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I made these gift boxes to hold all the jewelry my sons bought for our family. I used Snow Swirled, Season of Joy and Big on Christmas stamp sets to decorate the boxes. I colored the images using my Stampn' Write Markers. The tags were made using the small and large Tag Punches. I added some ribbon/elastic cord to finish the boxes.

Calendars

Hello Hivers,
Here are a few more altered picture frames that I made into calendars/post-it-note holders. I gave these as gifts to teachers for Christmas. They were a huge hit. I am so glad everyone liked them. Most of the calendars use retired DSP. If you have any questions about these projects, just leave a comment.
